It's not that you can't, either your standards are too high, or you're ugly. Which goes back to standards being too high lawl Guys are all about sex, girls are all about sex. You're obviously not mature enough for a relationship if you aren't ready to face that...

This question is a trap. There is no correct answer. You might be a huge minority Silver (in which case marry me now and i will make u very happy), but for many man this type of question is the bane of our existence.

1. Lie (No) it does make u look fat but the idea of getting a black eye from your girlfriend over an outfit is not my idea of a pleasureable experience. So you deal with the fact that your girl is going out and looks bad.
2.Lie (Yes) Thats just mean unless u are being playful... This might be your best "Out" because u have avoided answering the question and got cutesy points in the process
3.Truth (Yes) This answer will land u in the ER most likely and when you get out all your clothing and automobiles will be destroyed .
4. Truth (No) This is the answer they want to hear. Unfortunately uponing hearing this answer most women will say "You are just saying that" and will then proceed to yell at you for lying ; ;

On the topic of what you said though, I seriously don't know where the hell this "Does this make me look fat thing came from." I go shopping with friends, and maybe its different for me, but if I'm trying on something I'll say like "Do you guys think this is cute/sexy/good" and they'll give me an honest answer.

-Let's go to another store.

Or even something like "I think <insert color> would look better on you with that outfit, or something, the point is asking is for The other person's opinion Oh my god, what a CONCEPT!

I don't see how hard that is, but some people make it so difficult, its best just to avoid the question, and if you're dating a girl who asks it and you answer it honestly and she calls you a liar, then maybe something is wrong with her (insecure) and not you.

It is all a matter of preference. I spent my freshman/sophomore/part of my Junior year sorting this out in my head asking myself why I was different and putting together some sort of logic to my thinking to keep me from going crazy. I think the deciding factor was the dreams ^^;;

Yeah this thread is very good, a good change from the drama in the main forums, and interesting to see everyone's views.

I've always been a quiet person irl, very softspoken. I'm terribly shy too, which kinda interferes with me trying to find someone, but not really. I'm really talkative when I'm with friends and people I know though, so we're kind of alike in that aspect.

Believe me, I'm not one of those people who never get out the house, and never TRY to talk to guys, then complain about not having a boyfriend. If someone intrigues me I'll talk to them (or get a friend to talk to them for me hehe ) Sometimes I really hate how shy I am, but I'm starting to get over it, I just tell myself "The worst they can do is say no, and then its their loss right?"

Not going to get into more about me or self-esteem, cause thats just asking for people to pick on me orz...

I've never found out what's so good about breasts anyway. but whatever.

I do believe that's just a theory I remember my Bio teacher telling us how the theory is that males used to be attracted to female's butts (like other monkeys and such are) but as we stopped being on all fours to two legs the eye level was higher up and those with breasts (the breast gene D mated more because they were noticed and so and so.
