doubt it lol... but still it isn't worthless like the rest of the upgraded relic shit is.. if you can't see why 7MP a tick makes a huge difference in a PLD holding hate, and mages having MP to cure, nuke, etc.. well then there is no hope for you. Really at this stage AV is unkillable and no upgraded relic is going to jack shit to change that.

Thats pretty much the argument for any upgrade. It'll slightly help you to kill things you can already kill, so why spend 600mil when its better spent in other places. The e-penis can't be that big when 90% of the people who comment are making fun of you for wasting your time instead of saying grats now. You're better off buying 3-4 speedbelts for the tanks instead, thats a lot more useful in the end.

They'll fix AV eventually, they don't want it killable right now, just like Love wasn't supposed to be killed when we popped it.

Also, to the people who hounded geno for bringing up hp, it is kind of a big deal when its a 600 mil investment. If you're going to spend that kind of money, you might as well get the max possible value out of it, and its not going to happen on a taru.

You gotta spend money on something, having the relic horn is a SERIOUS step up for any bard, period. Its worth 600mil if someone has 600mil to pay for it. Yes, there are many, many, MANY other things in the game that could be done, but whether or not you think it is worth it is pretty irrelevant, worth is in the eye of the beholder.

Im sure 98% of the game's content could be killed naked holding only weapons, but thats not really the point, is it? The idea of an MMORPG is to advance your character, having fun in the process - if its someones idea of fun to buy a 600mil+ gil horn, more power to them.

Damn I was there the firs time they tried and AV did not pop. Today I was getting hair cut and they fought again and AV popped! Life is unfair with me!

By the way, Quick is one of the best PLD of the server, even if he's taru.

it's getting really old hearing people get shit for what relic they're upgrading. it's a god damn game and they can upgrade whatever the fuck relic they want to upgrade, regardless of job/race/server/etc. if their ls wants to sponsor them, and so do their friends, so be it.

there's never going to be an item in ffxi that's magical enough to 'warrant' the gil/time invested like relics relative to their actual use. even the horn. it's all about accomplishments and goals like many other things in this game. if you think otherwise that's your perogative.

it's not naive, it's reality. if a single person has a problem with his whole dynamis shell because theyre sponsoring a relic for someone, what can you do? it's not really complicated. sure, it might suck, but that's not the point. it's just like people leaving with or without an osode after being with a shell for awhile, or something similar. it sucks that you have to give it back and/or keep it depending on who's asking and what the rules are.

anyway my point was that there's many relics in the game, the people making fun of others for their choices, especially the ones who have done full relics or are fairly close--it's just getting old.

No, but the NA LS on Pandy that popped AV threw a level 4 to 13 (depending on when you checked) taru BST at it.
