Our Midgard LS has a WAR with Bravura. The owner quit FF for WoW, (The account has stayed in the LS for now) but he did 90 percent of the work to get it himself. He was extremely disappointed with it, as most relic owners seem to end up being. I believe the reasons were Metatron Torment being awful and having axe(or joyeuse)/ridill outparse it on nearly anything. Besides the obvious choice (Horn), I figure it'd be best to upgrade a 2 handed weapon for a job that doesn't have very good 1handed options. Like SAM or lolDRG. It'd still only be useful for the person really though. I'm unfamiliar with shield's capabilities.

Yeah Aegis is extremely broken. Right up there with Horn for useful Relics.

Top 3 Relics to upgrade imo:

Shield
Great Katana ( Before you knock it.. Just take a second and think about the massive rape a decked out SAM can dish out with one of these.)

Everything else is a waste.

There are rumors that the Staff is -3 Avatar Perp and +20% damage bonus to elemental magic. Thats 5% more damage than HQ staves. If so, I want! I think the only person that has one is SMN75.

Those rumors re:claustrum proved false. Also, the mp refresh from the staff ws gives you less back than a spirit taker...

Yeah I read a thread about it that said that, but it couldn't say one way or another about the perpetuation/magic attack bonus. Sadface. Do you have a link by chance, or was it just word of mouth?

Would be nice if they decided to buff the mage weapons, say give the Mjollnir (Club) 10 Heal MP, +50 MP and +10% Cure potency. Its still not even close to overpowered, but at least it is remotely worth it then. Alas, I ask too much.

There is a thread on KI in Dynamis/Limbus section a couple pages back about Relic Staff. On page 5 of that thread someone who is friends with a Claustrum user confirms that there is no -avatar perp.

Shield sounds absolutely amazing. Full koenig, defending ring, lv 5 shield, shadow mantle, pld/war seems kinda unstopable.

lol@needingadictionary. What's so ironic about that? Noone says Relic weapons are a waste of YOUR time. You're the one ending up with the Relic weapon. Its all the other people who spent JUST as much time helping obtain the item, and in turn get jack shit.

Next time someone asks 30+ people to farm an area for 1-2 years to get a Maats Cap for themselves, you can make the comparison.
