I don't quite see how one wastes others time by upgrading relic, outside of attestation and fragment runs. But since you still kill a bunch of mobs on both (have to clear time extensions in bcd and xarca anyway) it's not a complete waste of time.

I don't take my LS out of their way for the currency I need (except we always farm yagudo in bcd...minor detail) we choose cities based on what AF2 we need, what new members need which wins, etc. Me getting currency is just part of the process, not the entire idea.

It does. I'm getting the currency and so I work my ass off to be the best puller I can be. I'd be a lot more laid back with pulling if I wasn't getting all that currency :D We don't use sac pulls other than what I do myself. More exp loss for me but it also ensures quality and quickness cause I know what I'm doing.

Also, we're funding a shield too atm, I was just the only person willing to do major sponsorship when we started our Dynamis LS and wanted to make sure we didn't just sell currency. (Last upgrade for shield = 10k sandy, I'm done sandy, our pld gets all)

I'm going to get accused of joking, but the amount of AF2+1 upgrades you could do if events weren't sponsered for like 1 month would be kinda cool, I know most of them aren't that great, but some peices would be worth it. And the upgrades would be much more frequent than 1 for every year and a half.

that being said I'm not adimently against relic weapons anyway.

I understand you are yelling at people because it wastes other people's time...but man...its those people's decisions, cant yell at the upgrader if 50 people are backing him up, and people generally hit up dynamis for their AFv2 so they really dont care.

and in all fairness some people just go to dynamis to have some fun, they really don't care about how their time is spent as long as they are with a group of friends and just chillin and hanging out, so person A gets relic while 50 people worked? those 50 people either were not playing the game for what it was or they had fun. who knows...maybe it was not a waste to them?

If you're buying the currency/sponsoring the Dynamis then you can do whatever the hell you want with it. While it's great to say "hey, let's get a horn because that'll help the ls as a whole" it only applies if that person stays consistent and helps out frequently and in that there are no guarantees. Are the other relics worth 500 million gil? Certainly not, however, if people choose to get them then that is their choice, if LS choose to help these people that is their choice. If someone doesn't have the balls in a LS to speak about not supporting a relic upgrade in a friggin video game, then too bad for them.

I do think people who have had their relic upgraded and decide to quit should at least donate their accounts to their LS, but unfortunately for us people are Fags in this world.
