The 18 man avatars use new bloodpacts - Geocrush from Titan and Heavenly Strike from shiva are the ones i can think of off hand.

They use those in the regular avatar battles. Summoners were getting excited about this because they thought this would unlock those missing abilities (The avatars had them but we couldnt use them).

question, assume the bc isnt redoable even, couldnt you just get 1 person who has the flag active to zone out when all but 1 carby is dead? they zone out, everyone else wins, that person starts the bc again, rinse repeat? it didnt really take that long

carbuncle wants you to harness the power of the avatars so you can awaken his friend or something, the avatars say that carbuncle is tricking you and using you.

You go to fmf, carbuncle wants the energy, the avatars appear, say carbuncle is a trickster using you etc, (at this point youre the summoner since you had the power of the avatars in you, ie; eye of storms etc)

You cant control the avatars so carbuncle thinks the best way to fix the situation is kill you so the link is severed, you win, carbuncle appologizes, says to lend him your strength again so you can awaken his friend. You obtain carbuncles pole, and we got fucked on loot. Kthxbye.

As for the Faded Ruby Key Item, I read somewhere (maybe here) that it disappeared for a lot of people after they went back to Carbuncle and nothing happened. Is this true?

Yeah, all the key items are gone from my list now and going back to the ??? in La Thiene after JP midnight did nothing.

Hmm. I guess it's not so bad if they decide to continue the story. I mean, look at the Storms of Fate BCNM. You get a Key Item there as well. All I gotta say is the 2nd BCNM for this Avatar-related event better payout.

The title I got from winning was Disturber of Slumber. There are other sleep related titles in the dats, I'm not sure how to get them. A JP I just saw in Tavnazian Safehold has the title Interrupter of Dreams.

when they dropped, it was weird the same way as the clusters on previous fights

then a few seconds later
"You obtain a blah blah"


they didnt drop at the same time, and it wasnt related to the final choice we made in the dialog.

Does that mean that its not TH related ??

if I could somehow get really impressive numbers out of impulse drive on my sam, impulse to gekko would be pretty nice since it could just be 2 sams spamin the darkness

Don't think it's TH related because there's no "You find x on y" message. Simply a "You obtained z" message. Meh whatever, TH is stupid and so is the way this BC rewards people.

Has anyone seen a weapon drop from the single avatar fights? I'm curious if it's possible they drop there in addition to the psycho carby fight.
