This is the most retarded thing ever in the history of the game - and yes, I know that's saying a lot.

They add this awesome series of fights with a phenomonal finish and reward you with...a semi-useful mid-level smn pole, with limited charges. GG SE.

I would think the most retarded thing in the history of the game was making AV not a guarenteed pop considering what is needed to even pop it. This doesn't rank up high though. If you got a light cluster, then it would of ranked up high.

Edit: Considering the time spent in doing this and the worthless reward, I would consider it ranked higher now, somewhere along the lines of a 4 hour tiamat with fire crystal drops.

Has anyone tried trading the Whisper of Flame or whatever its called to the Ifrit NPC to see if the new Ifrit/Garuda etc weapons were just added to the available weapons that you can choose for trading whispers in?

Well, at least if that's the only reward for it I don't have to worry about doin all those avatar battles. Running all over the world + annoying fights + ultra hard mega boss = Stupid pole? No thanks.

Well, if I had to guess... The Pole is R/Ex, wait till JP Midnight and see if you can get the original key item again, maybe you have to fight it all again and it will give you ANOTHER item. So instead of being able to pick an item, you have to cycle through a bunch of useless crap that you don't want (Since the Pole is R/Ex, it can't give you another) doing this series of fights over and over again at cost to your XP, just to find out that you don't want ANY of it. ^^

As posted above, WTG SE, another winner. Now I'm waiting for them to tell me that these new Earrings I see are just more options added to Divine Might, but since I already have my earring, I don't get to choose any of these. After this, I wouldn't be the least bit suprised.
