    Let's Examine Dynamis-Tavnazia (Possible spoilers?)

    (This post contains information which might spoil the dynamis tavnazia story for some people. If you care, don't read.)

    I don't know if anyone remembers, but a few months ago I (and I believe NynJaa did Qufim or Valkurm's) fleshed out the DAT file information and showed it here.

    Dynamis Tavnazia consists of the following nightmare mobs:

    1 Nightmare Bugard
    5 Nightmare Worms
    4 Nightmare Antlions
    48 Nightmare Hornets
    40 Nightmare Leeches
    40 Nightmare Makara
    30 Nightmare Taurus
    42 Nightmare Cluster

    Also something very interesting near the beginning of the file are the following (in this order) mobs:

    Umbral Diabolos
    Umbral Diabolos
    Umbral Diabolos
    Umbral Diabolos
    Diabolos Spade
    Diabolos Heart
    Diabolos Diamond
    Diabolos Club
    Diabolos's Shard
    Diabolos's Shard

    These are the only types of mobs we've never seen in dynamis before, and considering Diabolos's presence the cutscenes for the new areas, I'm led to believe that these are the bosses in some fashion or another. Likely, all four suits will have separate item drops and killing all four will pop one of the three ??? marks at the end of the file, which will give the win. Now, these three ??? marks make me think that there are either two different places to unlock subjobs, or that one is to unlock subjobs and another is to unlock the first or only time extension. The latter seems more likely to me.

    The general mobs in the area other than these already mentioned are those derived from Dynamis - Beaucedine and Dynamis - Xarcabard. That is to say there are both fomors (Hydras) and demons (Kindreds), each with their Vanguard Eye counterparts and pets, etc.

    Their form according to the file look like this: (Note that Nightmare Taurus was already mentioned, these are not extras. The placement of the Taurus's in the file makes me think they can also pop from eyes, but this may be incorrect)

    The pulls look pretty damn difficult for an alliance of 18 to hit up, especially the Hydras which I would presume are unsleepable, since they are in Dynamis - Beaucedine.

    So uh, discuss. :D

    It depends how many mobs pop together.

    If it's 1 eye, 3 people, that should be fine. 1x eye gets zerged, 3x nin can hold 3x hydras pretty fine. And vanguard eyes have poopoo defence, melee will chop em up. However still, 18 man = -_-

    That's a shit ton of mobs for a small area and only 18 people. Perhaps it works like Buburimu where some mobs depop after boss, and others only pop after boss.

    That's probably the 4 Umbral Diaboloses (Diaboli?). Maybe the suited mobs will weaken those Diaboli (sounds better than Diaboloses) or will reduce the number of them that need to be killed in order to win, since SE eluded to not necessarily having to beat each boss mob.

    Can't wait to hop into this zone tomorrow night 8)

    just, half the time, and 1/4 the amount of ppl in the area, lawlz.

    Don't forget hydras being like 3 times harder then a city mob and unsleepable.

    Seeing as how the update details somewhere along the way mentioned the possibility of taking different "paths", I don't think they expect you to clear the zone or even half the zone, or anything even remotely like that. You probably strike out in a particular direction and have to take out like 1/5 of the zone or something. Or maybe different stuff pops depending on where you go/what you choose or however that works.

    I guarantee whoever does the first few exploratory runs wishes they hadn't, though, unless it just becomes blatantly obvious what you're supposed to do while you're in there.

    A 5 hydra pop if they're unsleepable would either have to be kited around the main circle or require a lot of ninja off-tanking and RDM bind/gravity control. Going by the number of mobs I'd have to say these are going to be much weaker than northlands hydra, with fewer HPs, and probably being sleepable.

    Don't forget that the nightmare cluster's self destruct all 3 heads at once and doesn't die from the self destruct while always dealing AOE damage proportionate to its max health.

    Well that was fun...

    We killed the bugard and got 15 minutes. Then we aggroed a worm, it draws everyone in and then does crazy stuff like aoe silence or tremors for massive damage. Killed that then found some NPC diaboloses who just disappear when you talk to them, and change the music to jeuno christmas music. Then we got massively owned by the 4 diaboloses (Heart Spade etc...), thunder 4 did 619 damage and took off 1% of one of their hps. They start at 50% hp. Then after we all wiped they all disappeared. We killed some hornets to check out what's on the second floor. Wiped again but right before we got kicked out, someone found a ??? on the third floor down below, didn't get to click it though.

    If anyone tries this zone after reading this, don't talk to all 4 diabolos npcs and check out the zones to coast and meadows to see if there are still 4 diaboloses that start at 50% hp.
