Our LS beat Dynamis-Qufim on Saturday last week (three days ago) also and the gigas sure as hell didn't drop anything at all. We had at least one TH4 thief, maybe 2 and a couple TH3.

Apoc Beast we beat a month or so ago and he definitely didn't drop anything either.

Every ounce of reasoning based on everything SE has done with recent updates makes me not want to believe that screenshot is real. Even if it is real it's almost more disappointing that we got not a single currency off of Antaneus (spelling?) and they got 400 off of an even easier boss.

well you kinda have to understand that everyone is gonna be skeptical, considering how retarded the new areas are overall.

a boss dropping 4 100c's is kind of difficult to believe when the new areas have, for the most part, been very unrewarding.


for whatever it's worth, we beat valkurm boss just last night, and it definitely didn't drop anything. we're going to try buburimu next week, so hopefully the pic is real

It could be something like Ix'Drk, but again many people killed Valkurm boss before without killing any minor NM and still got nothing. Unless all boss have a different currency "trigger" and this one work only in buburimu since the last patch, I doubt it's the case. Beside, I'm not sure if SE is clever enough to think about something like that. They seem to prefer writing insanly low number when it come to drop rate.


I seriously hope it's not a fluke, but considering people got crap in Qufim and Valkurm, I'm worried it is. I guess we will know soon with other LS going there soon.

I was also bouncing the idea of a friend last night that the AB could have the same drop pattern as a normal mob, dropping 0-4 coins, except he drops 100s instead of 1s.

But we shall find out, my shell is doing buburimu on Friday.

Just to back kaylia up - no screenshots since I was in too much of a panic and it was like a couple months ago, but we had 4 100s (2 byne, 2 goldpiece? or something) from the d-valk boss (cirrate christelle). It was about 3 weeks in after the CoP dynamises were introduced - one dynamis-valk each week, wiped 2x and then win. Fairy ring and goobbue killed, really nothing that special My theory at the time was that the more NMs you killed the better the currency drop rate on boss but there's no evidence at all for that now, since we cleared d-bubu and d-qufim later on clearing NMs and had no drop on boss and mediocre currency from the nightmare mobs.

To sum up: 4 100 pieces are possible from CoP Dynamis bosses, but don't count on it.

Those are real screenshots, I don't ever photoshop fake images. We killed the Dragon NM that spams Dispelga and the WHM 2 hour Quadav. I think that was all, then we killed Mega Boss, and he dropped 4 100 pieces.

After we got 2 Wyrm Belts from the Crabs, and an Assassin's Armlets -1 from the Ravens.

Yeah so hopefully other LSs will have similar luck with currency drops from the new Mega Bosses. We have decent luck though as our first 2 Dynamis Lord kills both dropped Shadow Mantles lol.
