Let's Examine Dynamis-Tavnazia (Possible spoilers?)

Got an hour and a half worth of time in tav today. Our linkshell's 1st attempt. Killed Antlion on 3rd floor. Worm on 2nd. Bugard on 1st. Diaboloses pwned us and depopped. Thats the basic run through.

Now for the interesting part. In the hallway between the nomad moggle and the AH i found a ??? between the eyes in the hallway. Pulled one and then touch the ???. Triggered all repops on the middle floor minus the subjob mobs. Caught us off guard and re-popped hydras and bees owned us. The interesting part is. After touching the ??? it gave us an additional 30 min.

Also our drops were DRG brais-1 and Hydra Spats. Bumped this mostly because i read nothing about that re-pop ???.

Unless you were being sarcastic, which nothing in your reply eludes to that, he stated he got 1hour 30mins, in addition to the original 15mins you get. Thats almost 2hours, and who's to say they got all of the time to begin with. Regardless the droprates seem to be the issue here, not the time.

Xarc af2=demons
Nightmare mobs=af2-1 and accesories
Beau af2= hydras?

if your dynamis LS cant get +30 mins from dyna-xarc to match that, then it sucks complete ass.

even on our first xarca with 29 people (just testing to see how well we do), we hit all extentions bar eye wall, and got 2 AF2's.

Well you also had much better documentation of the zone, didn't have a floor repop on you without you noticing, and probably had people who had been to xarc before (just not as a manaburn.)

Also, if that drops in 1h30, imagine how much would be gotten after the other extension(s) and a good farming strategy are discovered.

Remember, when I said 33 people and no AF drops thats all time extensions, all the NMs, the entire wall of eyes, and many other random pops. We didn't even spend time killing the DL (went for animated scythe, which warped on us.) Dyna-Xarc is far from awesome, but people do it nonstop.

And no, me and 3 others were the only people to have stepped in BCD letalone xarc, the strat for manaburn / melee are the same, only difference is we use MP instead of TP to kill things.

You said 33 ppl got less reward, while he was talking about time ext aswell as AF2. Less reward = not more time. The fact you got more time means you got more reward, it means you got more coins out of some demons.

probably is a movable ??? point between 2nd and 3rd floor in that hallway. Or maybe in the lower parts of the floors.

Our coinage was crappy. Probably around 50ish, no 100s. What I'm trying to say is Xarca is done constantly and it can be just as crappy even after mastering it, that is all. You are all giving up way too fast, if we kill a significant portion of the mobs in the zone and we STILL are getting crap drops, that would be different. There is also more variety in the zone, you can go for level 74 or 75 AF, belts/capes, or hydra gear depending on what you feel like (if the guess on diff mobs dropping diff things is correct.) Once the community figures this shit out, maybe it will be a better zone than Xarc for farming level 75 AF2, among other things. But not knowing doesn't mean it sucks, you're just assuming it sucks.
