I hardly get asked why I have 9999999999999999999's in my bazaar, everyone on asura pretty much knows that it means you dont wanna drop your gear.

I used my bazaar for mostly showing that I have "next level" spells or gear so parties didn't think I was some gimp when I leveled. That was really about it. I never really carried much except once a long time ago and this was when we were really the first LS in sky. Kind of like titles for the linkshell.

But yeah. The only thing that bothered me with bazaars was checking it to see a single "Red Rose" for 99,999,999 gil.

There is the 'comedy 9's' bazaar. Seen screenshots of people with the alphabet eggs from the easter event spelling out 'FUCK YOU' in order, followed by a Bastard Sword. There's a .jp on siren with EVERY possible HQ subligar in the game (excluding cursed) in their bazaar for 9's.

I don't really care if people put red roses in their bazaar. Eventually I remember who those fools are and just stop checking them. They'll learn their lesson eventually when nobody ever buys anything from their bazaar, ever.

I remember I checked a JP once named Yoshihiro...he had an ENTIRE macro for NA who checked him that was like

I generally have things in my bazaar that I'm selling when I don't have AH space, or stones whenever we do gods I don't want to drop, or just other things I get that I don't want to be accidentally tossed. But I leave that in there anyway, so people sometimes check me and I am sure they get dissapointed, but I don't stand around the GS or out in Sauro like some do just to show that off <.<

Ninjaedit - you know, does it honestly matter if someone bazaars something for 99,999,999 gil? i mean if your actively searching for something then yes it is a pain in the ass but the odds of you finding your 1 specific item anyway are going to be slim to begin with.

If you think about it, "examine" should little creepy for us, too, if we weren't desensitized to it. But ask any person on the street if you can examine them and see how they react. Your doctor examines you, too... do you enjoy it? (Nirokun/Septimus excluded) We just don't think its a big deal since we're used to seeing it in FFXI. Why the JP aren't used to it by now, too, is another question.

if you type /check playername it won't kick you out when they change gear, if you check from the menu it does, at least thats how it used to work
