Wow, nice way to leave the DRK off the poll. Glad you don't decide things in my LS.

Let's see...well, it's already been stated on this thread. INT for GS WS modifiers, an extra 7 GS skill, and an extra 7 club skill for when you do Kraken DRK mode. What's not to like?

If anything, it should go DRK then BLM. WTF is WHM on here for? So they can go play around with an extra 7 club skill when XPing NPCs or some shit?

Anyways, I loves my Prudence Torque. Now, just gotta get Justice.

Here's a novel idea. Give it to the person who deserves it most. There's more to consider than just jobs. BLM and DRK can both make use of it situationally, beyond that it should be a question of who deserves it more, has most points or however your LS deals with things like this.

Maybe because we don't have a person who's sole purpose in FFXI is playing DRK? In the situations a DRK can build TP with a Great Sword and SATA WS a WAR/MNK or most likely SAM would be doing a better job. The only real need for DRK for us would be Souleater Kraken, I can only think of 1-2 real situations where that ISN'T a bad idea. While giving it to a DRK is the best answer job wise you forget that a DRK isn't exactly useful in HNM situations where melees don't sit on the bench...

I agree with the person who said give it to the most deserving person, doesn't matter if they have a DRK WHM or BLM.

But that's not what this thread is about so it's moot.

We don't really have a drk so I left it off.

As for the Ugg pendant>this item.. oh yeah I totally run around all day in latent mp. On stuff in dynamis, limbus, or just about anything that isnt faf/kirin/cop wyrm I don't use ele torque. INT is dmg and more dmg is good, this is one of the few flat out improvment gear in the game.

And for the person who said the thing about me making decisions I'm not an officer. I was just arguing that whm shouldn't get to lot on this with everyone else.

So? Have you read the posts in this topic, half of them are saying "Let the DRK have it!" when DRK isn't even an option.

I gave my opinion, giving it the most deserving person isn't a moot point. It's somewhat off-topic.

You must of missed the part yesterday when I said I don't care if you get it (despite not having high enough drk to wear it) because at least a drk would get actual use out of it. Giving it to a whm so they can hit stuff with club is retarded compaired to its other uses.

I agree with almost everything you've posted in the past, but yeah this doesn't hold water...

I could argue that a WHM could equip it this and melee faf for more damage in 2 swings than the difference your 2 INT will make in the long run.

Sure, in a BLM world where the only thing that matters (literally, given most of the BLMs I know) is how big of a 4-digit number you can put in the log, then yeah I guess this belongs to you.

You're gonna want an ele torque once you're 75 and nuking stuff that resists. At which point this is a side-grade item again.

Isn't this 2 more int than the second best int piece you can wear? Isn't that like +2 more dmg to a nuke? Sounds like a god damn waste.

I know a lot of blms that don't even have +5int from merits because they say its not important, but somehow an extra 1 to 2 int on the neckpiece is godly.

Its pure DRK gear. 7 GSD skill for spin slash, 5 int for the modifier, and then 7 club skill for drk/nin with kraken. Its made for them.

Any BLM that wants to lot the item is being exceptionally greedy, as its not made for them. I'd let lv 50 drks outlot blms because the item will do shit for them.

I fight alot more mobs that don't resist then do (dynamis, limbus etc). Sure fafnir kirin cop wyrms resist like a mofo and I'd slap ele torque on for those, but we don't fight those anywhere nearly often enough.

That's a different argument all together, the only reason drk isn't on that list is because we don't have any. I said above I'd pass it if we had any drk that can use it because they get some real use out of it.

depends on the goddamn linkshell doesn't it?

You use spinning slash to do damage to most of the fights you do as an LS? DRK only w ok?

You do most of your damage with magic bursts from an army of black mages? BLM only w ok?

Hate to see the LS that bases lot rules on the shitflinging that goes on over loot on bg boards. :D

Point taken. But given that, you should probably pass for the whm, because they are gonna get more use out of whipping out their club for fun in dynamis, limbus, etc, than 2 int is gonna help over a philomath.

Get yourself a scythe (zomg garuda's sickle) and put that abyssal to work, then ask for a justice torque once all your Sams are outfitted 8)

OMG I'M LAUGHING SO HARD, I THINK I'LL WRITE UP A BOOK AT WORK TODAY ENTITLED:

How Black Mage Works in FFXI

..... you have made my day, seriously

How many fights did you have it on, like one or two by the time you made that hypothesis? I really need a link to that 'You Are An Idiot' thing that pops up constantly and annoys the shit out of people for this.
