she told makoholic to say and do things that made these problems worse and not better

after makoholic would follow her advice she would tell him he misunderstood what she had said

ryunoire helped break apart a relationship that was a real life deal and not just an ingame thing simply to amuse herself and her girlfriend safron

she kept her ls bank when she migrated to midgard server, not distributing it to the members who chose to stay on shiva as she had promised

she broke her hnmls on midgard a little less than a year after migrating and kept the ls bank again

she allowed the former members to remain in her dynamis ls but not in the new "social" ls she created, fatedoasis

fatedoasis used pop items her former ls members hunted and fought kirin and other gods

anyone who trusts this person and chooses to associate with her deserve everything they get

It is pretty cool how this guy just randomly finds all the stuff ryunoire tried to hide from everyone anywayz we all know and all i can say is im happy for all of us that stayed in shiva and didnt leave with those scamming whores >.>.

I've gotten quite a few tells during the weekend asking me what was Ryunoire like as a leader? Sides being the butch, she is very vocal at other LSs. Thanks to a few saved PMs that I shared with other HNMLS leaders on Midgar, here is an except on her opinion on CFH. This is very authentic, nothing was edited, other then adding the bold.

Also, what's really interesting to document is that from her definition of stealing, since under her leadership, tried to steal Valor's Faffy and failed.



Here's my original post on Oct 10, 2005:

First, this needs to be addressed. This post is not to disrespect anyone but to give everyone a chance to give his or her input in the matter. So for the moderators, please keep an open mind and give everyone a chance to give their input, rather then deleting it and booting me off the LS. This is a serious matter that concerns moral rights.

First, let's address what the purpose of CFH in the first place. What is CFH? What is the meaning of help? Most basic definition is, "To give assistance to; aid." Back in the times at the dunes, we used CFH to communicate to others that we need assistance. Let's fast forward now where there are higher stakes and the meaning of "help" has a different meaning when concerning HNMs in game.

CFH on a HNM violates the very first rule of EK: HONOR.

There are unspoken rules of HNMing. One of the main unspoken rules is HNM claiming and how it is handled. When another LS has a claim, it is only proper to give them space and sit on the sidelines. The only time it is proper to get their claim is when they cleanly wipe. A full alliance wipe. Anytime when the HNM is stolen before the wipe or just stolen because it was unclaimed, is morally wrong. Their LS gets a bad reputation and are frowned upon by the other LSs. PO is a perfect example. Every LS on our server hates them. JPs even know they play dirty and so forth. They're drama personified on this server.

Coming back to the CFH topic, when is it proper to use CFH on HNMs? Never. CFH on HNMs are generally frowned upon since it is a very irresponsible. We could discuss the pros sides of why doing it is right, but the cons totally outweigh it. First, CFH on a HNM is dishonorable. If we couldn't take it down, we must admit defeat and give someone else a chance. Sure we worked hard to bring it down to 10% but the HNM also worked hard taking us down. While it is unfair for others to gain the fruits of our labor in a minute, we can honestly say we gave it our all.

Now, you might be thinking why not CFH? It's only fair to CFH right? We don't want them to get that Defending Ring we were gonna get so that's not fair. If we wanted to be fair, why not reset the HNM and let everyone else start over right? Morally, it's wrong. Here's the thing, you put everyone in that room in danger if you do. It is not responsible to get everyone other then yourself killed. You use CFH and players left and right will go down in seconds. Is that morally right? Is it worth changing the LS's image just because we don't want others to benefit from our work? Is it fair then? Do we really want to be like PO and not give a rat's ass to anyone and act proud in a moment of our selfishness?

When I started FFXI, I wanted to be a PLD. I’m still leveling PLD even way past 75 without even touching other jobs. Not because it's just a job class with stats, attributes, tanking, or whatnot, but for what it represents. Being a knight of honor and upholding a strict moral code of ethics. I believe in the good for all and what is morally right.

So who am I to judge? Ask yourself... if it is right.

lol wrong, I already explained that call for help is used as an admission of defeat, as well, as giving open claim to another ls. no one is stupid enough to attack it until CFH wears off, because after the alliance dies, it will wear off. If they are stupid enough to touch it, they'll die too, and then it'll go yellow after all agressors have been defeated. It will not aggro anyone until it goes yellow again, unless they directly influence it.
It will also give all lses a shot at it, not just ones that are spamming us for the claim.

As for unspoken rules of HNM camping, its a fucking myth, made up by people in control to STAY IN CONTROL. I'm going to do things the way i feel is right, the way i've discussed with other leaders, the way i think it should be done.

So drop the fucking lecture on HNM rules. They remain unspoken, and unpublished, so anyone who wants to can fucking change them to meet their needs. I've been fucked over by NAs, I've been fucked over by JPs, hell i've even been fucked over by EUs. One thing I've learned, is when something is yours, you make it yours, and you do whatever the hell you can to hold onto it. Honestly, I DONT CARE WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT ME, NOR ABOUT THIS LS... I'm here to protect it and to build it. I'm not going to let people walk on me by stealing my shit, which has happened many many times, and in all honestly we still had about 5 members alive when the claim was taken, which IN THE UNSPOKEN HNM RULES is known as STEALING.

If they want to take it, let them take it, but let them have it after its regened a bit of HP, and give everyone an equal chance at it, why should someone thats spamming MY hnm to get the claim, benefeit from what we did? Also, UNSPOKEN HNM RULES ARE THAT 1 REPRESETATIVE FROM ANY LS PRESENT WILL /random FOR THE NM.

Bottom line, if you don''t know how call for help works dont fucking lecture me about what's honorable. And, when i tell someone in my ls to do something don't stand there and say 'no dont do it.'

Call for help does not negate the HNM, it resets timers, and after aggressors are defeated, it will return to yellow, allowing anyone a fair shot at it. People dont team up to kill a HNM thats CFH on, they wait til it yellow, has gained about 10% HP and then they kill it.

Don't tell me what is and isn't honorable, I'm a Paladin too, for the same reasons you are, but this is a game, one where everyone is trying to be the best and get the best gear. I'm not going to just hand them over an NM that is left at 8%. i'm going to make them work for it. That has NOTHING to do with what is honorable.

In truth, if they were honorable people, they would have killed it for us and given us the drops, but they didn't nor do i expect them to, nor would i give someone our drops if the roles were reversed.

Honor only takes you so far, it takes leaders with drive and ambmition to reach out and take a piece for themselves and thier LSes. I'm not saying that I'm the best leader, nor that I make the best choices. What i am saying is that I am not going to be stepped on, by encouraging people to spam voke my HNMs, of the FEW that I actually get to fight.

Shadowbane is basically her playground to command drones to get her Excalibur. Once you guys get to the Animated Weapons, see for yourself what new crazy excuse she'll have this time at breakin up the shell like she did on EK on Shiva and Midgard. Heck, don't be surprised to see her and a few other FO members migrate a week later without a proper goodbye.

Actually, on Shiva (her 'previous server'), all HNM LS's, NA or JP, /random on Kings for next-claim... there's been a few minor LS's who've tried to hold out and not play along, but they never last more than a week or two before disbanding

Thanks for posting that. Yeah, new drama would have been nice (especially Midgar drama!), but that's a great flash video and I'm happy to have a copy of it.
