People actually wear those lol. By largely considered a piece of shit I mean it in the sense that so much so that you'll never see anyone wearing it. BLM JSE feet is another example, although I could probably identify those since they have tattoos and shit.

No one wears RDM JSE in town (or in public for that matter). The Wise Cap (RDM condom hat) is macro'd in for enfeebles, but then immediately macro'd out for style (RDM AF1). Also, AF1 Hat is better for nukes (if you can even call them nukes for a RDM).

I persoanlly leave my Wise Braconi on in town...i think they are a decent change from AF1 pants (which I still carry to macro in for SS, Bars, etc..anything increased by Enhancing Magic Skills).

Wise Cap sucks for debuffs, and wise braconi shouldn't even be in the game at all

Wise Cap is better for debuffs than anything, but HQ Wise Hat or AF2 hat.

Elite Beret has +5 to enfeebling skill and wise cap has +5 to magic accuracy. Arguably--and it's arguable because enfeebling is the most ambiguous skill in the game--they're on par with each other. I said Wise Cap is better, because if it's the same as Elite beret +1, it's a better item due to the substantial cost difference.

plus the THF isn't in Heca, it's Dragon. Anyway as stated my comment about AF was due to that picture in the original post being the ONLY picture on the Aht Urhgan website that shows characters in anything other than AF.

Is it dragon armor? I could be wrong, but the white shoulder pads make the body look like Hecatomb, and that definately looks like hecatomb cap.

Edit: LOL the THF is using Waghs. Gogo h2h THF

Dragon Cap and Heca Cap look almost the same.

Here's a closeup of dragon set

    http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/images/fa...on-Harness.jpg

In general Dragon is more greyish, Heca is more black

    Here's heca harness
    http://ffxi.allakhazam.com/images/fa...mb-Harness.jpg

Just from looking at the neck alone you can tell the the original picture was dragon harness, and since they don't mix JSE with other type of stuff you can figure that everything else is dragon as well.

Wise Cap sucks for debuffs? As apposed to what? Dueslist Chapeaus dont exactly drop of worms in Gustaberg...nor do they really drop from anything. And if by some grace of god it does drop...you better hope you can beat out the other 30 RDM going for it on lot. Given this, one cannot expect all RDM to have Duelist Chapeau. W. Heads are so easy to come by as well. I forget what drops w.head....isn't it rabbits in Sarutabaruta? Maybe its mandies....I'm really not sure.

Other than the ultra rare rare/ex shit listed above.....Wise Cap seems to be the best option for debuffs for a RDM in the mean time.
