Cursed Cuirass -1

i vaguely remember this screenshot of a female PLD quitting and in the log it had her tossing a lot of kaiser gear, but i can't remember if the cuirass was kaiser or not.

if anyone can find the screenshot you would see what i mean

Yeah I remember that, and it wasn't someone who did it for Royale, it was a few months before that even started. It was a real person quitting, they tossed some Kaiser pieces but I don't remember if the Cuirass was or not. They did toss a D Ring too though.

NQ Koenig Shield but he's 0/40 on HQing it so he'll be there soon

Not quite sure who you are talking about being "uncursed", but I know of 1 NA and 1 JP who have full Kaiser. The JP also has Excalibur. Pretty sure the JP crafted it himself but don't quote me on that.

Umm, there's an NA with Kaiser body? The JP I'm thinking of doesn't have Excalibur. The one I'm talking about is Fulio, who are the JP/NA you're talking about? The closest NA i know of is Trunks, and last I checked he didn't have HQ body. The closest JP I know of (who also happens to have Excalibur) was Katsuma, but he didn't have a HQ body either I didn't think. I actually saw his /seacom a month or two ago trying to buy one.

Fulio was the NA I was referring to. I was under the impression Katsuma had a HQ Cuirass, but I have never seen him wearing it because he's really never in Jueno like Fulio is and I don't really feel like stalking people to look at their equips. I may be wrong on that and I don't have a clue who crafted Fulio's body piece.

Ahh, Fulio definitely didn't craft it himself, although I thought the same thing for a while too. I still don't know who did though, but I do know for a fact he doesn't have high Goldsmithing. And Fulio is very much JP, even though he was in Ultima he was only able to communicate to people through myself, one other NA who speaks JP, and the other JP member of Ultima who would help him translate.

Katsuma may have gotten his HQ body, the only time i ever even knew about him was when I was searching random item comments and he had {Cursed Cuirass -1} {Sell?} in his. About 3 months ago.

did Katsuma finally get his Exclaibur? Last I heard he had the currency but not the fragment from Xarcabard.

I remember Arcknight was suprised I had to pay that much for it... I think he obtained his for like 3-4 million. (This in 2004 where a million actually meant something)

Hahaha I remember that. 10mil was something that I didn't even dream of back then. I actually got mine from the AH for 5mil, when NQs were selling for around 350-400k. A friend of mine named Buzek bought it for me but I never thought back then I'd be getting it uncursed.

I wouldn't even attempt to go for the -1 nowadays considering the price & the rareity of the abj (for most people) unless you've got teh gils to blow on it. A friend of mine on Kujata recently went 1/27 on c. diechlings -1, which is a Lv93 synth. I went 1/6 on them. But it's all luck when it comes to crafting... and especially cursed gear. Honestly I think paladins should be happy that the price of our cursed gear isn't anywhere near the price of zenith or shura.

Just curious Valisk... how many synths did it take for your cursed schuhs -1? I'm 0/11 and I practically gave the NQs away. :/

Yeah it was a damn steal even at the time. I got my handschuhs off the amazing Lylia while she was skilling up on them. She didn't want anything for them but I had to give her some gils just because she's the best. I saw a cursed schaller -1 on the AH that was sold by a mule named Yan to himself for 3,000,000 gil. I ended up tracking this person down and he had a bazaar open in Batallia with the -1 schaller in there for 3 mil, so I snagged that up (had to borrow the gils since 3m back then was still pretty pricey). I believe another one sold on the AH a couple months later for 5 mil. No idea if any more have been made since. Since there's really nothing else for me to buy for my paladin, I think I'll just try and get the -1 schuhs made just to have them ready if that day ever comes where we'll get anything other than d.feet off Aspid.

Yea, I also got my Cursed Handshuchs -1 from a LS member that was skilling up. I paid 7M for them which was overpriced at the time, but I had already decided I really want full Kaiser. I saw a PLD friend's name (rival LS) on AH for Cursed Schaller -1, but when I checked him, he had NQ. I asked him about it and he said he was satisfied with NQ and wanted to sell the -1 for the gil. So I bought for 3.5M (had to borrow gil cause it was when gil meant something back then). I was really surprised to find out that Cursed Schaller is 97 cap and requires 2 subs. NQ is 2M now, so definately got an amazing deal. Before I got Cursed Handshuch -1, I was unsuccessful on 12 attempts. Sold all NQ. Went for Schuhs -1 next. Took all my BC99 gil. After 29 attempts, I finally got it on the 30th attempt. Still have several NQ to sell. I even NPC'ed about 8-12 of them. Still have 4/9 NQ Diechlings to sell. Sold 5 so far and ofcourse HQ on the 10th attempt. Gonna try body soon, probably 3 tries every 100% Lightsday.

P.S. - 100% Lightsday has been hot for me. Cursed Diechlings -1 (1/10), Cursed Schuhs -1 (1/30), Cursed Cuisses -1 (1/12), and Cursed Greaves -1 (1/1) 8) all on 100% Lightsday for me.

omg what kind of dummy would sell schaller for 3.5m? ;p just kidding, You'll get there someday, having played a small part in it gives me a half chub haha.
