Are they going to make real Auto-translate funtion or do they enjoy watching newbies shouting "{Hello}{Help me out}{Reward}" or "JP guy you {Meat}{Shield}Ok?"?

I'll answer that one for you.Originally Posted by Dein
If they make currency buyable or tradable from a NPC, people will use that to worj the market and use it as a gil income source.
IE: So and So Buys a D.Ignot for 3mil
Trades to Gob for a 100 Currency.
Sells 100 Currency for 5Mil.
Rinse wash repeat and then you have a padded cap type of bug.
Uh...your analysis is wrong.
Ask them what lessons they learned from mistakes they made with CoP, and how they're going to avoid making those same mistakes again in ToAU.
Just fit the words "Rewards", "Why?", "Kings", "CoP Dynamis" and "Sea Gods" somewhere in there.
"have there been any murder cases involving final fantasy"
id seriously like to know this JP play this game on a whole different lvl than "most" NAs
Are there going to be more options for NPC/key item storage? Being able to store a +1 or AF2 set would be nice. And even some way to store all those rare/ex weapons a person can collect would help alot also.
An item you are wearing, technically should not take up inventory space in your "backpack"?... yeah. Oh wait, I got it. Batman utility belt!Originally Posted by Rasengan
I understand that but what I had more in mind when I made that question was introducing drops that were ra/ex or just ex in each dynamis zone to prevent people from trying to exploit the currency market. Plus the dev team will never make a npc to sell currency as they're adamant about keeping currency inside of dynamis only.Originally Posted by Koga

How is this inflation? The price of D ingots and other tradeable goods will move in price to balance out the huge profit margin... people aren't that stupid. It'll work for the first few weeks or month, but eventually it'll become mainstream knowledge. People won't sell D ingots for 3 mil when they know they know the guy they are selling it to can turn it into 5 mil without any risk of loss. They'll convert it themselves or sell it for the adjusted market price that will occur after such a patch is implemented. The prices of D ingots aren't set in stone... perhaps you'd have an argument if you could buy them from NPCs, but you can't.Originally Posted by Koga
Allow us to purchase an extra moghouse room (or even multiple rooms), and switch between them. This might address the PS2 limitations.Originally Posted by Lordwafik

It's only NA PS2s that make these limitations. Japanese PS2s are leet.
It does seem like alot of the problems with the game could be fixed if they dropped PS2 support. In game windower, JP text support on NA and JP clients, model/GFX upgrades, 1/2 the hardcore JP's would quit and who knows what else.
Question: Any plans to make NM's not able to be Called for Help on?
It's getting old hearing about how they're lying about the limitations of the PS2. Are any of the people saying this stuff actually programmers? Do you realize how complex it is writing software, much less games, much less MMORPGs? There could be thousands of reasons for the 80 slot limitation. Maybe they have to open one file handle to a .DAT file for each item in the safe/inventory, and PS2 doesn't allow more than 80 file handles open simultaneously. Fact is, it could be anything. It's not even worth discussing because the possibilities are endless and there's no way to tell what kind of hacks / optimizations they've implemented behind the scenes to make the game run.
Windower team has pretty much seen how bad SE programmers are.Originally Posted by divisortheory

Have you seen a windower run on PS2? Just because a PC can do these things doesn't mean the PS2 has the capability to. There could be any number of hardware or software restrictions on the PS2 which forces the devs to write "crappy code."Originally Posted by SephirothYuyX
I would want to ask about the possibility of giving BRDs a 3rd "song slot" specifically for Carols and Resistance songs. Currently, BRDs rarely (if ever) use these songs because Minuet/Ballad/Whatever is infinately better than some tiny resistance boost. But if these resistance songs could be stacked on top of existing songs (in their own song slot), I think they'd get a lot more use (without being overpowered).
