AV down on a server supposedly...

Well well.
I just read this whole thread cause I was bored and just got off work.
Seems like people from every server are just as lame and bored as anyone in the world. I no longer play FFXI. A few reasons behind that, but that is another story.
From reading this thread I gather that the lot of you really wanted to believe what was actually false. Argueing about this and that about something in the virtual world while the real world continues to crumble around you and you lie oblivious to the fact. I can't say that there is anyone perfect, but there are people who are wiser spending time on improving the world they live in instead of bickering about a game online.
You say I am doing the same thing by posting this? No. I do my part in the world. I post this for your benefit.
I don't have to be the one to show you, just look at yourself, each and every one of you. Do it now. Do you help those in need? Do you care about others besides yourself? Would you be considered a model human being? Or just another waste of space who will be leeching off my Social Security money that I pay for bi-weekly?
Don't cop attitude and start being deffensive. Just look inside yourself and see what you could do to better the situation/s in the world instead of fighting with eachother in a pointless manner.

This post is a perfect example of people who have no life and really really need to find a true calling and live life. There is no point in living life that was given to you if you are just going to be a fuck all. Learn a skill. Help the unfortunate. Do something. Stop being lazy bums and get this planet back in good motion before you all ruin it for the others who work hard to have a good life and find that it really doesn't matter cause 1 man can screw it up.

lol? Has it ever occured to you that just because people play FFXI doesn't mean they have jobs, go to school, etc? Personally I was staying up late working on a website for a class, member of the my LS mentioned this topic in chat, and I sat here refreshing the page everyonce in awhile to see if AV truly had been killed. Was I as you say part of the "the lot of you really wanted to believe what was actually false", no. I wanted to believe that yes there was a way to kill AV, nerf or no, because it was something that had never been done, and it was nice to see SE add a fight that truely required an ingenious well thought out strategy.

I stayed up until cravy posted that first pic, and then went to bed thinking, "Wow, they actually did it." Wake up this morning, and find out that cravy is an fucking asshole, and out of boredom decided to fuck with all these people that for whatever reason, wanted to see if it can be done. So now we end up with all these people pissed as hell at some douche who is now trying to claim the moral high ground for instilling false hopes in xxxx people. So who gives a shit if it's a video game? Too most of us this our hobby, and what entertains us on a day to day basis.

You can come on here and act all high and mighty, but in the end we just don't give a fuck, because this is a FFXI Forum, and all of us lifeless worthless losers like talking about the game that's rotting away our brains and our lives.

I am an active member in my school to help the underclassmen.
I play in a recreational city basketball league with a bunch of friends.
I work about 30 hours a week.
I go to school 40 hours a week, and maintain a 3.33 GPA, with 2 AP classes.
I am one of the highest scorers in my counties academic decathlon.
I spend time with both my gf and my family consistantly, and love their company.

Guess I should go slit my wrists since I'm such a waste though...

I don't even play anymore and I still find it incredibly hard to believe something like AV dying can go that unnoticed. As what Aurik said, no one is not going to notice a boatload of people in Sea for 8 hours <_<

It's also very possible to photoshop it and whatnot, if you know basics it'll look pretty close to those who don't bother to inspect really carefully. However, those who're more adept in the program (ie. Wafik), should be able to make it look like a genuine article, regardless of how fraudulent the image stands.

100 people in DA doesn't mean there's over dozens of parties fighting for Darters and the one malboro for exp >_> Then again, of those 100, maybe 6 could actually exp off them from being able to see them

If we assume the integrity of the presented material is 100% Accurate, and that AV *did* perish to the aforementioned Linkshell (edited b/c I said Guild@first lol <_<), it is possible to occur. Not everyone likes to be in the limelight, more often than not it's sometimes the better factor into play.

If you start boasting about it, two major things can happen: 1) no one believes you b/c you keep bragging, or 2) everyone and their fucking mother will be asking said LS how it was done, etc. etc. which becomes increasingly annoying overtime.

I guess you can consider AV dying similar to someone unlocking/acquiring Ashbringer in WoW - for those unfamiliar, Ashbringer is the third Legendary weapon, however, no one fking knows how to get the blasted sword. One thing or the other, it's going to be something incredibly fucking hard to go unnoticed outside of the LS/Guild (though not impossible).

60 people in Sea isn't anything crazy though. Does no one go to Lumoria at all for you guys? On mine there's specific sea farming days, and everyone who has sea knows which (or 2) LSs is farming that day. Considering 30-40 people will show for that, whats another 30-40 people. Always seems to be like 10 people standing between the main updraft and the palace anyway.

Understand, I know cravy was lying and sucks as a person. We all know that. All I'm saying is that alot of people over there isn't THAT crazy considering there's almost always two parties doing those popped aerns for the mission. Just saying.

That is not true. I heard that some JPs fought a mob at an undisclosed location for an unspecified number of hours and got the drop. There is, however, no photographic evidence except a picture of someone's title. Do not let people fool you with photos taken of the person's title being different from the title that they got from getting the Ashbringer, because they are shy and changed it so no one would know that they had it. They also got rid of the weapon afterward so no one would know either.

They are just shy like that.

2. You see 30-40 well know HNM LS members&leaders in sea.
