Will the new expansion's mission content reward you as you progress as Chains of Promathia did, or will the missions culminate in accessing one specific area or region, as in Rise of the Zilart?
Are their any plans to make the defensive combat skills (Parry, Guard, etc) and non-damage based magic skills (Healing, Summoning) easier to level in future?
Who can players speak to if they feel the service the GMs are providing is less than satisfactory?
Are you planing on answering any questions today? Or do you plan on dodging any useful answers, leaving the FFXI comunity with a feeling that SE has no idea whats going to happen with FFXI.
If you get someone to ask this question to them ill paypal you 50 bux.
edit: another good option is
Do you feel the some of the responces from GM intervention can be considered racist?
I don't think that's entirely correct, or either I don't understand what you're trying to say. I've always thought it was the last thing calculated, because it's a straight 10/15% increase to your spells, just like weather/day effects. So your base damage is calculated for the spell using int differential, tier bonus and spell damage constant, then MAB is calculated (MAB trait+equipment), then that value is increased by the % of the staves and weather/day for the final value. So actually, it's the last thing calculated.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
maybe its first, maybe it's last, I fail at math. regardless it's the most important part and it's not at the same spot as magic attack bonus gear.
Base DMG > INT > Staff > MAtk > MDef > Weather/Day > Resist%-
What I've found to be the case.
agreed...everytime I saw a blm with a weskit and a NQ thunder staff I cried. Or there was that manaburn party where a guy was using a int wand at level 72...god I hope SE nerfs the hell out of blm in some way that allows the smart people to still do what blms do now, but the morons will become as effective as drgs.Originally Posted by Not Kuno
I'm 75% certain the staff and int spots are switched. As for day/weather.... I thought that was before int but I'm not really sure.Originally Posted by Genosync
day and weather goes off at the same time as staff bonus. Same as AF2 gloves bonus on Magic Bursts and AF2 pants effect on the correct day- all are straight percentages (staffs 10/15, day/weather is 10, AF2 gloves and pants are 5).
I equiped a Jailer weapon, touched all 5 Ebon Panel when AV was out, and it said "Nothing happen"? What did I do wrong?
Why is drop rate better when we have a Jp in the party

I'm curious, why do you always say the ebon panels are the key to the defeat of AV?Originally Posted by Kaylia
Staff is added after MAtk, cast with and without your hq staff and you'll get a 15% dmg bonus with the staff on.Originally Posted by Genosync

Ebon panel are obviously useless for now since there is nothing in the .dat, but people still ask seriously if they are related to something.

a) they don't do shit
b) no one knows how to kill AV
c) most of the stupidest theories on killing AV involved hitting the ebon panels and using the jailer weapons
ebon panels + jailer weapons = captain planet comes in and kicks AVs ass

ask them why their holiday events suck hardcore donkey cock. And ask them why they don't bring the damn treants back or cool events like that.
I hope someone brings up the whole bst and mpk system gayness crap.
Have they ever answered:
1) Does anybody in the dev team pay for and play this game?
2) If not, does anybody with any managerial powers over the dev team pay for and play this game?
3) Of the employees of Square Enix involved with content development, do any of them play characters at level 75 on an actual world and not just test servers?
Guessing the answer for at least 2 out of 3 for those will be "No" at which point you hit them with:
4) What makes you think you understand the oldest and most often repeated grievances of the end-game NA community if you answer to any of these questions are 'no?'
It's like asking someone if he tested his torture tool to make sure they hurt. The answer is obviously no1) Does anybody in the dev team pay for and play this game?![]()
