will wright is a fan of the PC, his releases 90% of the time hit PC's before being ported out (actually I dont think they'd get ported out if it were up to him, but gg EA wanting to scrape gold out of every cranny).

Looks really too complex for any console. PC makes sense.

Yeah for awhile I thought it was basically a MMO with a fully customizable creature. I was excited thinking you had to like fight for your life as you tried to level up for your egg and get new parts and evolve and shit. Then when he said it turned into an RTS and you have a society I was like.... mmmm that's not so hot.

This game would be so much kewler if it were actually an MMO and you actually advanced your creature and not an entire civilization.

At any rate, where can one get this game? I really want to play it and if it really is "ofn" then it should be out already, no?

not really, the xbox360 is more powerful then any gaming PC out on the market right now so I won't be surprised if they release it for that. Considering the 360 is able to have a keyboard and i'm sure with an update a Mouse (mouse is recognized but no games use it now) I can see it getting ported to that.

you do realize you don't have to go into RTS mode right? XD just keep your creature not so smart and it'll stay in evolution mode.

The video looked nice and the game looked well designed. However, it looks like it requires a level a patience alot of people won't have. Especially, ones in the console market.

Aye, I agree. It looks like an excellent game. It should do well on PC. My comment was just my thought on how it might do on consoles because someone brought it up.

I think it might be ok for console. I'd really enjoy if i could use it on my PSP really <3 I'd never be bored during plane rides, sitting at the airport, in an assembly (or class D:) again ^^

I dont know if you guys ever did, but if you played SimEarth by Maxis (Will Wright was also a designer for), you'll see lots of similiarities in gameplay.

This game looks like a 21st century form of SimEarth but Spore also goes a little bit deeper. Instead of playing god and controlling elements of the game around you, it seems you're now playing that 1 organism and surviving in the world around you.
