Yeah, sorry, I keep meaning to update. I have a hand-drawn map with corrected spawn areas (almost every spawn area on the map needs to be enlarged) and I just haven't had time yet, and since my dynamis pullers know where to go now, there really hasn't been a good reason to.

May I ask how many people your LS had for this run? The full 36? If yes, do you feel you could have accomplished the same with a smaller group? How would you have done it?

we had over 45 people login wanting to go, but I gave priority to the people who signed up on the sheet , and priority to the 3x PLD. Im sure we could do it with less people, it might require one more round of invincible though, the boss took quite a while to kill.

Also he used his 2hours right away, he used Hundred Fists as soon as someone voked him, even at 100% HP.

Yea, he uses his 2-hours immediately, and cycles through them about 30 seconds apart. He should have used Mighty Strikes first, but he may have gotten through that when you aggroed him the first time.

When I went to do the Quadav Sac pull, we got wayyyyyyyyyyyyy more than the white mage

Even still, how long does it usually take for people to kill it? Our one died when he was up to chainspell (despite missing mighty strikes and benediction).

Any of you that have successfully taken down AB have a quick kind of Strat on whut u use like party set ups, and how to take him down? Cause with us always seems like he kills us before we kill him. We throw everything we got at it, and he resists ALOT of shit. Like, do u have SAM's Skillchain the hell outta him and BLM's burst from the ledge while PLD's all invincible one after another? Thx again in advance for any help you can hook me up with. =)

What's a skillchain? We don't bring melee to dynamis who want to do much more than Blade: Jin or Rampage, and if we try a skillchain, one of those two weaponskills always seems to interrupt it... however, that works pretty well on AB, since it resists magic damage heavily. If you're wiping, I think you should take a look at your tanks + support first, since it didn't seem terribly difficult for war/nin and nin to manage it. Maybe you need more melee damage, as ludicrous as that sounds!

Ok well so far 0/2. Both times had probably around 30 people there, maybe more like 25 cant remember for sure. But, i think had like 6 BLM's, plenty of support, WHM's, etc. And also plenty of melee. We killed the Voidsong Dragon and WHM NM, then went with AB. Things that really hurt us were Mijin Gakure and Astral Flow though. But in the time he got all the way through his 2hr's, we were pretty much wiped, which was about 15 mins or so. Think we wiped at around 50%, and that was with us going all out, plenty of melee too i assure you lol. So im just wondering what exactly is the key to taking him down so easily as many people say they do, etc.

Some of us have HNMLses that do Dynamis as well so there usually aren't always 36 people on unless you're in one of those zergling rush types ('-'*)

Only voidsong and WHM NM, and the thing lived long enough to do all 2hrs?

Did all of your damage get wiped out by TP moves and Damage Spikes? The first time we engaged that thing and it put up damage spikes (dispellable, but annoying), a THF suicided in one turn from a triple + mercurial kris offhand. Maybe go poke a few more dragons around the map.

It really is easy, if you remove all of the dangerous TP moves. You could probably cut down the # you hit because most of the attacks are absorbed by shadows, but that's not really a great crutch on which you should rely since your BLMs probably wouldn't stand up to a body slam from that thing.

I'm out of ideas.

We had him down by about 2 minutes tops. He uses an SP every 30 seconds or so. We used an invincible order, 3 plds, and had about 18-22 blms? (3 pld, 3 thf, 4 blms for every 2 support mages approximately). He went hundred fists -> manafont -> chainspell, and died just before he would have used a 4th SP.

PS Once we were clearly gonna win I dove in (as our token melee) with hundred fists and got owned by spikes in about half a second. Whoops.

Just want to say thank you everyone on the info on Dynamis-bubu here and the other thread that was made about it before this one. We won it with about 28 or so ppl. Got some good currency drops, drg feet drop and War stone. Haven’t seen anyone on Asura with the war stone yet.
