Do I have to do the AF1 boots quest first?

I'm aware of that, but before you can do the dark spark, you need to open a coffer in garbage shitadel. Before doing THAT, you need the galka to give you the quest.

He isn't giving it to me so my next guess is that i have to do the long as quest for the useless af1 boots.

Shouldn't have to finish the boots quest... Should just have to start it. I always just finished AF1 (Wand for blm) started the next quest, (Boots for blm i guess, I forget) and then was able to get the hands quest. Worked for the 6 jobs I got AF for.

Having trouble with af1..? I beleive that warrants a Banish to Alla card. All AF you have to have the weapon done first, then activate the gloves. After gloves quest is active, the coffers will give AF as well.

it should you; hafta do AF weapon and first piece of artifact armor before you can flag coffers (i always assumed maybe you gotta start AF3 but details details)

To get AF hands quest, you always have to activate the 'AF2' Quest first, in BLM's case, the boots.

lemme explain why i asked this question,


All the jobs that I've leveled up, naturally I would do the AF2 because they are useful pieces. I did whm af2 because it was pretty much default (my first job). I did NIN because of the evasion+ at night, I did Bst because of the charm+ and I did warrior because of the double attack enhancement.

I looked at the blm boots, and saw how it was a shitty af so i did not bother with it and went automatically to the gloves which I had problems with thinking I did something wrong with my previous AF's and the dark spark or maybe I was missing something.

Please excuse me for having multiple jobs at level 75 and not having the inventory to house useless AF's/Skipping a few AF's which in turn made me ask this question.
