Using the Fomor Codex does lower your hate, but it doesnt reset it. Gotta kill a couple fomors if you want to use another Codex

The hate decay over time is pretty slow. I had been a small run with some LS members, had barely enough hate to pop, but left early cause I had to go to bed. I went something like 2 months later and still had enough hate to pop, and hadn't touched a single Fomor or been to sacrarium since the last Swift Belt run.
All I can say is after getting a Swift Belt for 10+ members...I'd rather camp KA everyday for the rest of my life instead of going down there again.![]()
6 people answering a question that was answered a page ago... are you guys sleepy?
That's about as useful as "My friends friend killed AV, they got all drops, but they dont remember the strat and no one took screnshots."Originally Posted by Sefier

Fomor Hate and Swift Belt hate are totally unrelated. I had killed thousands of Fomor before ever going to do Swift Belt, my hate was probably level 70. But I still had to kill lots of Fomor -inside- Sacrarium before I got even the first level of Swift Belt hate.Originally Posted by Heian
Killing Fomors inside Sacrarium raises both types of hate. Killing Fomors outside of Sacrarium raises only non Swift Belt hate. I don't imagine killing Orcs and Gigas' lowers Swift Belt hate.
I deffently remeber having to kill Orcs and Gigas' to lower Formor hate so my static could go through Sancrium safely. Its linked. Somepage does say it can decay over time as well. The only ways I know to lower the hate is; Killing Beastmen in Lufaise and Misareaux, Time, and Popping NM using Formor Codex.Originally Posted by divisortheory
A good way to test would to be go to Sancrium and farm Formor Codex for a couple hours, go the the NPC in safehold check hate, then check the "Stale Draft" in Sancrium. After that go kill Gigas' and Orcs in Lufaise and Misareaux for the same amount of time and check you hate again with the NPC and "Stale Draft"
Yes, I did that too. But that wasn't Swift Belt hate. That was just regular Fomor hate that causes all Fomors to aggro you through Sneak or blood agro. Swift Belt hate has nothing to do with aggro, and the only thing it affects at all is the message you get when you click the Stale Drafts. Eh, I would do the test you mentioned but I'm satisfied enough in that I never reset my Fomor hate a single time ever over multiple Subligar runs in Aqueducts as well as in Sacrarium, I also helped with multiple Sacrarium mission runs and never reset my hate (just used Silent Oils). And when I went to get my swift belt, I had level 0 swift belt hate according to the stale draft. After killing about 10 or so, it increased to level 1.Originally Posted by Heian
Yeah I think its when you get enough hate to pop Swift Belt NM is when you agro through sneak. Honestly after three of four Mulitiple runs and not getting one I gave up on getting the belt. Tired of carring expensive level capped gear for NIN.
You never aggro thru sneak even if your hate is max.
Can anyone on the Ifrit server talk to Feon and see if he remembers what JP had the Parade Gorget? Or is there anyone on Ifrit who recalls seeing someone with that item?
I found a JP blog mentioning this item:
http://nekotin.blog16.fc2.com/blog-entry-14.html
What does:
いつもどうりにパレードゴルゲット+ネタを募集中! translate to?
If this is a "Wolfman" why would he want water. He'd want blood!
When I was digging for info I came across that blog too. As far as I can tell she's asking for info/looking for info herself on how to acquire it. Seeing as it was reported that it's someone on Ifrit that owns a Parade Gorget, it's struck me as a bit odd that someone also from Ifrit was talking about it... Could just be hoping the person on her server would help her acquire it I guess.Originally Posted by Demetrios

I guess the next thing to try are the aquariums, or rare blood that drops from some lv8 Sheep in Gustaberg-_- (used to pop another nm in that same patch.)
I would swear I tried that blood a while back. If I didn't, I really wanted to do it, because I remember heading to Movalpolis after getting that blood.
I had another idea tonight and went to try it out. I figured that if he's crying that's he's thirsty and all combinations of Water failed then, seeing as Parade Gorget gives refresh, maybe MP drinks are the answer. Vampire Juice immediatly sprung to mind for some reason but I tried it along with a Yagudo Drink and a Persikos au Lait and nothing happened... Obviously there's a lot more testing that can be done on this train of thought but the person who brought me them only had three inventory spaces.
Anyone got a Ro'Maeve water lying around![]()
