didn't that get started by colenzo on KI?
Take FFXI's level grind and multiply it about about 20. Now you've got yourself a Korean MMO like, say, RF:Oand lastly, the exp grind in FFXI is much better eh?
There isn't a card for that. And yes, FFXI > RF. If you are going to quit FFXI, play GW or WoW. Those are the only three games worth playing, if GW counts anyway.Where is the card for fools that prefer GAY game economy every other week. Nerf-bat that hits randomly every 6 month? So bias FFXI GMs, gilsellers, unbalanced jobs, and lastly, the exp grind in FFXI is much better eh?
This was the most productive thing Berticus has said since leaving for WoW. Good job!! I only wish it was done before the card joke was smashed into smithereens from one fag I dont think I need to mention.Originally Posted by Genosync

If you have a couple jobs to 75, alot of gil, and friends, leveling in FFXI is incredibly easy. I've taken jobs to 75 in less then 2 months from start to finish. As long as you're in the position alot of people are who frequent these forums (75 and rich) FFXI isn't really the horrible grind people make it out to be.Originally Posted by Viq

Geno got owned... nice job copying me too there you stupid fag.Originally Posted by Genosync
Been playing it for awhile now, it's kinda like PSO with a very heavy focus on PVP. I'm Kilee on earth server if anyone cares
RF online looks cool and all but my friend tells me the controls are pretty ass ;; said other than that it was a cool game.
btw...
not to derail the thread any but who is that guy in the gtfo card? looks familar
Take "FFXI's LFG" (except if you are a freakin BRD) and times it by 20. That's exping in FFXI being choke by a lack of refreshers.Originally Posted by Viq
RF GUI isn't the best and has plenty of flaws especially the weak chat system. But hey, that's why we have teamspeak or ventrilo.RF online looks cool and all but my friend tells me the controls are pretty ass ;; said other than that it was a cool game.
You don't need to be super rich. A simple static group and knowing where to exp is enough to go from 1-75 in under 2 months or less. There are some ppl with static that went from 1-75 in a month. Yes, you gotta have no life to accomplish that.If you have a couple jobs to 75, alot of gil, and friends, leveling in FFXI is incredibly easy. Just play what the fuck makes you happy and stop trying to force it onto other people. It's like reading a thread written by e-Jehovah's whitnesses.
WTH dude? Can't anyone read here? Where in the world did I say go out and buy this game?Originally Posted by Russta

Last time I checked, most JPs don't even like to try communcating in English. So how is Koreans not speaking English any different? BTW, NA/EU server only. Something you don't get in FFXI.
Glad you guys stay in FFXI.
I tried RF but quickly realized it was like almost every other Korean pvp mmo out there. A seriously dull and boring level grind where you try to force your e-penis down other people throat's by getting higher levels and new gear and then killing people with it. Some people get their kicks out of open pvp and others don't. Besides, if you really weren't trying to get us to stop playing FFXI then why get worked up over what people say against you?

FFXI's LFG time x20 = FFXI's LFG time?
RF Online does have its long list of flaws: The limited info about the game, lack of any form of tooltips that give useful information, complete lack of NPC involvement, a game based solely around HP pots, a retarded skill system that only gets worse the higher Lv you are, wierd chat systems, fairly odd ways of telling what Lv the mobs you are fighting are; the list goes on.
I was originally enthused about this game, but after my friend let me create a character with his account, I soon lost a lot of hope for it. The game literally throws you into the fraw and gives you no explanation about the lore/history of the characters. The only envolvment with any time of 'storyline NPCs' are when you get a new quest and a pop-up windows displays the next quests tasks.
The skill up system they have implimented is one of the most off the wall ideas I have ever seen. While it is seemingly simple to skill, you can only do so under the strictest of condistions, and keeping every stat maxed before quest gridning (which helps tremendously with PvP as well), become more of a chore than the actual Lv grnding.
The one thing I do think is quest cool, is the fluxuating economy. That feature gives the game a bit more of a 'adult' feature and can proove to make a lot of currency if you invest the time into it.
Above all, I do think it has a lot of potential, but its just like every other Korean MMO to hit the market in terms of character play, graphics, and style. Like others have said, play whatever the fuck you want, but I would seriously think twice about choosing this game.
