This is true, I guess the only thing about Vael is that he's the 2nd boss you fight in BWL whereas DL is the last But you make a solid point

Easy or Hard is not the point.

The simple fact that WoW endgame is instanced makes a big kills type list pointless.

BWL is hard btw... not trying to take anything away from FFXI but, lets not go and assume these things.

In any case Big kills is as much about claim as anything else so big kills WoW is without point. If you had unlimited chances at Nidogg for his pop every week, you'd probly always eventually get him (at least I hope so) and thats why BWL might seem easy to someone who isn't familiar with the mechanics of instanced endgame.

Sorry but even Razorgore was more difficult then any mob I fought in FFXI (Includes Dynamis Lord/4CoPWyrms/Gods/Kings). Getting to 60 is easy, clearing BWL with a 90% experienceless guild isnt.

The fact that it was achieved with a 90% experienceless guild (and carebear ) makes the achievement all the more profound I think.

Also getting razorgore to 24% on the first try was a great achievement.
