    And I don't agree with the death penalty. In my mind it's ALOT better to make a rapist/murderer/molestor whatever rot in jail for all eternity where he will enjoy the beatdowns and anal rape. Killing them nowadays (lethal injection) is not even punishment at all, they don't feel anything anyway so why bother. Pointless.

    Ya they just showed his dumb ass on GMA pleading not guilty, wtf. The soldier shot also spoke; he stated that besides the gunshot wounds to his Chest, Shoulder and Thigh and the intense pain and rehab he is in good spirits.

    Yet another blackeye for California state Highway patrol, Police and Sheriff departments.

    pointless to make them sit in jail and fucking make everyone else in this country pay to keep them there. If their crime warrents a death give it to them and stop wasting money keeping them in jail.

    Asked the Women of Iraq if anything the Military has done matters. They now hold positions in the New Iraq Government, they have the right to vote, and for the first time in most of their lives they can walk around without a cloth covering their face without being stoned to death.

    (Sarcasm) I am sure that most of Iraq would love to go back to the Mass Grave Type Regime that Sadam was running

    Yeah, cause suicide bombers blowing themselves up in the streets, taking them out as collateral damage is so much better thanmass executions.

    And you're confusing Iraq with Afghanistan; Sadaam was just psycho, not a psycho fundamentalist. People walked around with burkas because it is part of their culture.

    Last time i checked the US soldiers were not the suicide bombers. Those types of people are the reason that we are in Iraq in the first place ....

    Putting aside the thousands of civilian casualties directly caused by our bombs, the suicide bombings only started after the US occupation began. How hard is this to get? You don't have to be raping people and commiting willing genocide to realize that you are in a crappy war started by people who have no sense of planning, no sense of the country's cultural or historical positiong and clear goal for the future. You don't actually have to be doing the bombing to know that your country's lack of judgement is responsible for it.

    Yes America is THE BIG BAD EVIL. We force the suicide bombers to commit murder. We do our best to kill as many civilians as possible, on everyday possible, so we can get our precious oil. Our troops are like trained dogs that obey their master and deserve no respect from the lazy americans that sit down turn on CNN / MSNBC etc and then make ridiculous claims about a country they have never been to and will probably never visit in their entire life. (terrible run on sentence ... oh well)

    Merper i really feel sorry for u. U have so much hatred for Bush and our current administration. U are so bent on destroying Bush that u buy into the rhetoric that is vomited out of the mouth of the Liberal Media. Before u continue to make yourself look bad, please do us all a favor, go visit Iraq and see for yourself how the people feel now that Sadam is out of power and their is a new democracy in place. Out of all the people of Iraq only a small minority of them are suicide bombers and hate the US. I speak from experience having been there and actually getting my information from the source. Try and do the same.

    If you ever took a debate class you would know that sometimes people use a method that "Goes to the Extreme to make a point" In this case i took the farthest left view i could to make my point. U did say that we are to blame for the suicide bombers bombing yes? My point stands . Go there SEE FOR YOURSELF until u do your credibility is 0

    The reason people don't like the situation in iraq is because people as a whole are retarded.

    NO NATIONS WERE BUILT FUCKING OVERNIGHT.

    It takes god damn time for things to happen. America didn't become what it was overnight, america had to go through nearly two centuries before we became what we are (bush still sucks). Iraq isn't going to all of a sudden become a great nation overnight because we went in and got rid of saddam.

    It is going to take some time for them to develop as a country, but i can assure you that what we did was the best thing not only for the country but for the world. If anything was a high possibility to be a catalyst for ww3 it was saddam, and if anyone around the world chastizes us for getting rid of him, they are the most ignorant people i can imagine.

    And people like this anyway guy, are just to selfish to understand that things that happen in iraq do effect them, if not now then at some point unless something is done to rectify bad situations, like pre-war iraq.

    I'm just going to sum up what I'm saying, because I'm tired of arguing which nationalistic idiots.

    1) The decision to invade iraq was based on false pretenses, and the post invasion process was very poorly planned. In addition, the predicted reaction of the Iraqis and the mid east was so far from the mark that it is ridiculous. To think that people would welcome another occupation force with open arms after a long history of occupation forces destroying their country was just retarded. And to not expect this invasion to be played up by neighboring countries to feed growing fundamentalism was similary moronic. The insurgent attacks are a direct result of the lack of foresight of the administration. Hell, if they had only realized that the country hosting our military created the most dedicated terrorists, they could have seen this coming. Just because it's not actually US troops doing the bombings does not mean that the invasion is exempt from part of the blame. They took a non-military problem, sent in troops and made things worse, even if not for the iraqis(something which I doubt, but since people have been there and "know better" I'll leave it up to debate) then by radicalizing many surrounding countries. Making claims such as Iraq was going to be the cause of the next World war, when it was broke, had practically no army and no WMDs is ludicrous. Read up on a history of Iraq, However;

    2) The troops that got stuck in there before all this became apparent after the invasion are not at fault. They trusted a government that had no idea what it was talking about because they hoped that they were doing something good for their country. However;

    3) If you signed up after you knew what had happened, what was going on, and what you were LIKELY to be sent into. Thus, by signing up you agree to be a willing participant in this debacle, and can't pretend that you're defending your country. Furthermore;

    4) If you pause for one second and consider how things in this country would be worse if the Iraq war never took place, you realize that nothing would be different.

    5)In conclusion, fighting and dying for freedoms and liberties that were never threatened by external forces doesn't merit any special respect, and certainly nothing above people who are working to improve america from within.

    Flame on.

    Supposedly it costs more to give them the death penalty.

    Sparky, please god damn it, it's YOU. YOU YOU YOU YOU NOT U. Why do you spell out every word then start sentences with U?

    You're all confused btw on why we even entered Iraq. We didn't enter because of suicide bombers or that Saddam was killing his civilians. We entered because the giant stockpile of WMD's he had! Which vanished or something! So now the propag-err- news tells you about how great it is that we took over because instead of Saddam killing people, we are!

    Stop worshiping Bush. Now. Right now.

    You are very clever in your wording in this response.

    1) You are correct the Iraq as a country was and is very poor, but you are ignoring the reasons why the country was poor..... Sadam had all the money. Thats right he took all the money from the "Oil for Food" program and other United Nations programs and kept it for himself.

    We did not invade Iraq on false pretenses. The entire World believed that Sadam had WMD's hence why he was sanctioned so many times from the UN. If you have been keeping up with World News you would know that Syria has offered to hold and hide Iran's WMDs.... and they are more than likely doing the same for Sadam. Saying that the Military is responsible for Suicide Bombers, is the same as saying it a husbands fault for letting his wife get raped because he made her dress slutty. News Flash THE COUNTRIES AROUND THEM WERE ALREADY RADICAL. That is one of the reasons to continue to help Iraq stay free. By implementing 2 democracies in that region we are placing a cadalyst in an area that desperately needs change.

    3. I assume that u are not a member of the US armed forces so let me enlighten you. A majority of enlisted soldiers do so because of an extreme love and admiration for the country that they live in. They dont sign up to fight an unjust war, they sign up to serve and protect the United States of America. If you cannot see the Iminent Danger from a dictator like Sadam and Iran and N. Korea then u are not seeing the big picture cleary and/or objectively.

    The troops in the military (based world wide mind u) are their to protect the freedoms that u use on a daily basis. This is reason enough to demand respect from every American alive today, regardless of your views on administrative policy.

    Lmfao, explains why we got like 5 countries to help us and we had to go against the UN's wishes.

    Actually most are kids trying to get college money, but instead now get sent to Iraq where they die and are unable to go to college.

    From the ACLU:
    "Prosecuting a death penalty case is extremely expensive for a state and drains money that could be used for education and social programs. It costs more than sentencing a prisoner to life without parole.

    The most comprehensive death penalty study in the country found that the death penalty costs North Carolina $2.16 million more per execution than a non-death penalty murder case with a sentence of life imprisonment (Duke University, May 1993). In its review of death penalty expenses, the State of Kansas concluded that capital cases are 70% more expensive than comparable non-death penalty cases."
    There it is. It is more expensive.

    .
    Try 20+ and if you do research you will see that almost 85% of the world believe Sadam had them. The 20+ that was added to the Alliance we have in Iraq decided to actually do something about it.

    Let me make something clear, I do not support Bush with all his decisions. I do support some of his policies especially those that are in the best interest of our National Security. Taking Sadam out is better for the US and the World... YOU would think that this consept wouldnt be that difficult.
