as for calling the gm.. i dont even know who called him.. but either way, considering the fact that the entire LS was jailed, dont you perhaps think whoever it was might have been justified? it was, after all, a 4 hour fight, after which tiamat had regenned 6% > 25%, and only 2 smns left, which isnt really enough to even combat regen. The GM gave them an ultimatum to start dealing damage after they had allowed 20% regen, they were unable to do it, AND they back-chatted the gm.. so good luck.

Yes, it did take us a long time to get Tiamat down to where we did (think like 6% when it flailed). Most of our members have never fought a CoP wyrm so we're in the learning phase still. After putting those hours into the fight, you don't want to give something up like that so easily. Kupo's actions were totally disgraceful with the blantent MTs sayin how slow we were killing and not to mention dia'ing the CFH elementals our BLMS were soloing. We were not about to let another LS claim something we worked so hard for.

I just want to say it was a fun fight and feel we did a good job considering the small amount of people we had. Just a shame some other people have to try and ruin that

After four hours, you should just give up and go the fuck home. Sorry, but honestly, you're wasting more time for yourself. Give up, go home, the fastest you do it the faster another LS will kill it and you'll get it repopped to try again after practicing on Ouryu.

And honestly, Ouryu is the easiest of the CoP wyrms (in my opinion). Figure out how to streamline your damage, and enjoy some (still not great) much better drops.

I'd rather get DRKs in my LS some Black legs than fucking Gaiters any day.

Nah, fighting a wyrm for four hours just goes to show you need to go back to Dragon's Aery and bot a few more claims, then work in the whole magic-based air attacks, and a few stuns.

Wyrms really aren't that hard. Tiamat, for instance, couple SCs here and there, some SMN BPs, use some mobs to get melee TP, let BLMs burst, make the most of your LS members and their jobs..... and wow.

Good strategies for killing wyrms have been posted on these forums all over the place. If you can't kill it in a decent time frame, go fight Ouryu and figure it out.

Getting a wyrm to 6% and then getting flailed shows you don't know enough about tail hate either, and how it works, and how flail works. It's not just because xxxx person just did xxxx action from the tail, and made it turn. In fact, a wyrm can turn 90 degrees and still flail. You figure it out.

Just made an account specially for this thread.

I am from Caffeine and was there for this debacle.

We were jailed for that CFH at the end yes.

Basically, GM came in after a spike flail and said we were holding the Tiamat. Of course we are holding. Main alliance had 15 weak out of 18! We were desperately switching in BLMs to ES Sleep it and now we are holding? It doesn't help when Tiamat mighty striked and killed all our plds the instant they recover either. We had to wait till >20% to get it out of frenzy mode to try and redo.

But we had people leaving for the night so we decided to call it a day. CFHed on it since we don't want Kupo to get a free Tiamat at 20%.

Not after someone from Kupo diaed every CFHed elemental to prevent us BLMs from soloing those. We CFHed on these so people not in the adds alliance can help kill them. Though no one died from the elementals, it is extremely annoying.

Let Tiamat recover to 100% as we leave and Kupo can take it if they want. But the GM jailed us for using CFH as a griefing tactic though the only people that will die will mostly be people from Caffeine.

And yes we took 4 hours to get it down to 6%. We didn't know how to handle Tiamat at 6% properly so we ate a spike flail. Embarassing? Hardly. We never got Tiamat down that low before. And this is only our 2nd wyrm we attempted. We killed Jormungand on our 3rd try. Don't tell me Kupo killed everything on 1st/2nd try either.

It is within our rights as players to fight Tiamat. Kupo has no right to claim Tiamat for their monopoly just because they are the only ones with the capability to kill Tiamat fast...and practically every pop.

Add: Oh...and I do believe Bruru is in jail right now. Perhaps Lbelle as well? I believe this proves that we are not lying.

And Genosync this ls knowns how to kill wyrms. The fight didn't take 4hours it was down to 10% in less than 2hrs. The ls tried to recover during frenzy, and didn't want to give it up. We have killed jorm and planned on recovering to do like wise. If it wasnt so late it would of been done. We are still in the learning stages, but when an ls is there who has the expierience to kill it and does nothing but spams in shouts and mpks by casting dia on elementals you'd be pissed aswell. The heart Caffeiene showed today during the drastic situations was great. Very proud of my ls and we will own it soon enough. Until then yes, we do have to learn how to survive during frenzy and there is nothing more to this thread.

Thats probably because we kited nearly every corse to the zone. Any repops were promptly despatched by adds alliance. And no, we didn't call for help on these.

Correction..one of our newer BLMs (just recently dinged 75) kept dying from the dia-ed elementals.

Nothing against her either. She hadn't had much experience dealing with T+ elementals...well especially ones that can't be slept or silenced.

it's fuckin' apparent how you guys act already. only reason we got jailed is because we didn't want to give up tiamat at -10% for you guys. for an LS that claims to dominate the server, you guys are fucking pricks about it. we didn't do shit but make you guys start at 100% and you cocksuckers fuckin' GMed us for it. we got jailed was because we CFH with the intent of making you start over.
