Nah we didn't zerg, it just started triple attacking tanks and killed them each time so with ES sleeps/stuns/BP not correlating on time we didn't even have a chance to zerg :\ and the fight got just ridiculous with the constant wings and blasts so we just said fuck it and left lol

Tiamat doesn't triple attack Maybe should try slow or elegy so it doesn't look like triple attacking?

GMs don't know shit about endgame. Case in point, we did Tiamat 2 days ago on Titan. This JP WHM toon controlled by a notorious RMT'er on Titan whose linkshell doesn't get along with ours (he has like 5 accounts, one actually got banned) shows up while we're fighting and tries spamming cure IV/V on our tanks while standing on the tail. Obvious MPK attempt. Our ls leader calls a GM and this is the result:


Spynner is one of the cooler GMs, but he obviously doesn't know shit about wyrms. He didn't know about spike flail and he's asking about blackaid? wtf.

Point is, the GM is gonna see people holding. They don't know how spike flail can stop a fight cold. They don't understand recovering from an attack that can wipe an alliance.

These guys were trying for their first Tiamat. You guys sitting around for 4 hours was greed for gaiters, plain and simple. When a grand is claimed on Titan, rival linkshells don't head to the zone and wait for their chance to fucking take it. We got better things to do. But then again, Karasu and JR the only two NA linkshells that can kill grands on Titan, get along really well so I guess it's different on Pandy.

And you guys were watching this go down at 5AM? Does nobody in Kupo have a job or go to school? Lol at losing sleep over a damn dragon that drops crap.

Yeah, she can become quite a bitch...

All wyrms are the same, you can guage if you can win by about the 50% mark. Shit will always happen and you'll occasionally get a freak death or a couple bad TP moves but with a good setup you shouldn't have any deaths at all until at least 20%.

If you feel like your LS is "struggling" to get to that point (not saying you were), it's better to just get a good feeling for it then think about leaving before it gets too low...as it's going to get ALOT worse unless you've saved a bunch of damage in your pocket to zerg through. You may or may not win but gotta listen to your folks and guage whether or not they all feel like eating tons of R1's just to maybe win.

Sorry Palin, but it sounds like you're copping out on the whole Diaing deal. There's alot of bad blood between people in Siren, but we draw a line at interacting with the other members fight. How you can say shit like "that's not a classy thing to do" and then take no action on your own members for doing it is bullshit. Either say you don't care, or show some discipline on the matter. I didn't even agree with the Dia on the TP mobs, but, I kept my mouth closed for certain reasons. Probably wasn't such a good idea in retrospect.

I agree with Suiram though, don't generalize. The majority of people in Kupo are good people who wouldn't instigate things like that. A lot of people weren't even there last night, they're innocent from this. The people who watched and didn't say anything are less innocent, as we should have spoken up. But to say the entire LS provacates like that is a huge generalization, its not like that. It'd be like saying all of Caffeine had no respect for the community because of their steals at previous HNM camps from other LSs, when in reality it was just a certain few people. Generalizations aren't good.

Kupo is the only LS that kills Tiamat on a regular basis. The rest of the LSes have scattered wyrm kills, and we get along 90% of the time.

Caffeine pulled Tiamat and we wait for 4 hours. I got bored and decided to Dia their CFH mobs (elementals, antlions).

IMO CFH mobs are free-game. Don't call for help if you don't want outside people to mess with it. Hhmmmmm?

I've come to the conclusion that the reason they Called for help on it is because you (Kupo) Would have grabbed it at the % that they were wiping to and take it down quickly to 0% just to show off your e-penis
If what people are saying is true, then the people who caused all this problem for your linkshell should not go unpunished. I personally would kick them because there is no way in hell i would want someone like that representing my linkshell.

You could say to stop generalizing but in reality when you hand someone a membership to your group, they are representing that group and not themselves.

Everyone here isn't stupid or retards and we've all seen this shit before. Hello, after the resignment of Pikarya the humble, i'm now Kupo Leader. I have not read all of the posts in this thread so i might miss some stuff. Sadly i don't have much time to play these days and i live in Sweden, which makes it hard for me to attend these.. 8AM Tiamats? Ever since i've become leader i daily have to deal with shit going on. It makes the game less fun for me but some people don't respect that and continuessly do really stupid shit.

These kind of things always seems too happen when i'm not online. Maybe they know i would be furious if i saw them act like douchebags. Dia elementals is unacceptable and was a really bad move by Bruru. Lbelle making this thread was also a really bad move and in all honesty, i'm looking for a moderator in this forum to ban her. I am that pissed off. Go be a drama queen somewhere else.

However, watching the whole HNM community flame the whole LS for what 1-2 bad apples does is sad. Many or most people in Kupo are really nice people. In this specific case i'm kinda.. I don't know what to think after reading this thread and threads on other forums. It seems to me both sides did wrong. Sadly it probably won't be the last time Linkshells on Pandemonium will be arguing. Caffeine has been improving too killing tougher mobs lately, and that's all good. I like NA acchievements and congratulate LS's on well fought wins. I have even helped people in the past work out functioning strategys to down certain NM's. I think that Caffeine are enjoying this time to have.. people on their side for a change. Because let's face it, usually it's Caffeine vs the world after one of the infamous Turtle steals.

I'm sorry for what happened today Caffeine and i'll make sure that everyone responsible for this will get to hear it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that Kupo would NEVER take a 20% Tiamat. If you can't figure out why, don't bother asking.

I for one is not attacking Kupo as a whole. I will still continue to do the regular events that I do with some of their members like Dynamis and Limbus. I do admit we have some anti-Kupo sentiment in the LS but I don't think we started the verbal crossfires.

If some LS claims a CoP Wyrm, and you're waiting for them to wipe/win, just check out the situation for a bit, and if they are not struggling, go afk/leave the afk/go exp/go farm mobs and come back later. If we can be civil about this, a simple /tell to takeover, or "we're giving up" will suffice. It is not as if every LS on the server have the capabilities or inclination at that time of the day/night to kill it. And there is definitely no 100 people like in Dragon's Aery fighting for claim either. So whats the hurry?

Regarding our past history...Vigion has not allowed us to claim mobs that another LS is fighting and have not wiped yet. The Aspid case long ago where we took claim and killed was when it was already being passed to and fro the LSes there. I wasn't there so I can't comment further. The Nidhogg at 7% case (we later claimed and properly killed one) was "officially" given to us by the wiped LS in question. Interestingly, certain people not from that LS were the only ones telling us we stole when all 80 people in the Aery were likely to be spamming their stun/voke macros.

As a final note:
I admit that it is kinda silly to cfh on the elementals when they can be soloed. But a good number of our BLMs are new to the job and it is not like they are very experienced in soloing T+ stuff yet. But this doesn't give people a right to interfere in such a way to kill us.

Hey derz, this is in no way a Caff vs Kupo thing, and I wont allow it to be. This is against only a few people, and I highly doubt will even get punished in kupo. GM asked me afterwards which members from kupo were to be jailed, I only mentioned Bruru and thats what he got. Point being there are some great people in kupo, but the few who are pulling it down need to be dealt with. Oh and Chubbs your monk is badass what can we all say, if one day you stop getting ToD's of every NM for a living I will congratulate you on your achievements as a monk.

When you fight tiamat, you have to get used to the "Kupo factor". That is when they all surround you and watch you fight and whine about it taking so long. Easiest solution to this: blist them all for the fight. You guys are now a threat to kupo so you have to be prepared to deal with their tricks now. From what I heard Vigion is already trying to be recruited. As are others.

What Kupo does is instead of camp against others, they pick apart other ls's. Which quite frankly is a lot smarter and easier thing to do. Hell if someone got offered first lots on M Bodies and other Botted loot, who wouldnt take up the offer? I was in DestineySeekers when kupo did this to them too. DS killing wyrms, kupo sees competition, next thing you know 5-6 DS leaders are in kupo.

Anyways, I was not there to witness anything that happen at tiamat, so only thing for me to suggest to Caffeine is next time bring: Tiamat allience, Add group, and a group to babysit kupo and have GM call ready.

Don't be too hard on Lbelle. Pandy needed some publicity. Until now, all we had going for us were a couple AV pops and first JP and NA JoL kill.

As for the topic, calling a GM and dia'ing elementals seems like a pretty gay thing to do. However, I know a lot of people in Caffeine and Kupo, and they're mostly good people... with a few dumbshits mixed in, like every other LS. So I'll just assume that this boils down to a few certain people acting out of line, and imagine that tomorrow no one will care anymore.

Chubbs if you knew anything about black mages, once you are low on mp you sleep the mob and rest to regain mp and aspir when it's up. However if a mob is DoTTed, that mob can not be slept. I had to bind(which tends not last too long) to regain mp. I think that's a pretty simple concept that you obviously failed to see
