its not about age so much, its about the quality of the beer - at least imo.
i hated beer until i was 21 (which i am now, almost 22), and now i can stop getting shitty beer at lame college parties and so on and spend time in a good store / microbrew.

wow@the guy who said PBR, Thats some mighty large testicles you have there.
Hahahaha thanks we are just poor college students. I let my roommate have the last Miller so he gave me a PBR and I spilled it while EXP'n and only one person in my PT understood what I was talking about. In the south though we drank alot of Nattie, or Natural Lite its just as disgusting as PBR.

We main use PBR for Beirut, but tomarrow night we are picking up a couple beer balls and having a party it should be good.

Living in the Boston area is great for beer, Harpoon is a great local brew so is Magic Hat #9. Guiness is ok , Yuengling is a little expensive, but we get them for casual drinking for card games or sitting on our asses after class, never for getting drunk. Also NewCastles have been growing on me, those are a pretty good and solid lager.

Newcastle/Boddingtons is what I drink when I feel like being a beer snob which is almost never, I also tried Redhooks IPA recently and liked it a lot and I usually hate that stuff. Sierra Nevada sucks and everyone drinks it around here.

When I'm not being a beer snob (everyday) its Coors Light + Kessler or Jameson ftw. Depending on the mood. If I have nothing to do the next day its definately Kessler because I can shit my soul out with no responsibilities to attend to. <3 Kessler.

I also love Dirty Martini's when I get the chance.

    Such a great topic.

Yuengleng is a great beer, probably one of my favorites.
Blackberry wheat is a great beer from vermont, they don't distribute it much and it's only seasonal, but hands down the best tasting beer i've ever had, from the company long trail.

for non-beer i'm an old fashioned guy(21) i drink jack daniels mixed with a fine variety of gastric acid, sometimes coke. I'm also a fan of captian morgan and jeigermeister. I'm a fan of Skyy vodka (hence my name Skyylya).

And who can forget! the great Cabo wabo....i don't think i saw anyone mention tequilla yet. expensive as hell, but it's god damn delicious

Skyy is such a great and odd vodka. By odd I mean it costs 17$ for a fifth here in Alabama, but a handle is only 30. Doing the math you save roughly 10$ for buying a handle, which makes it cost about as much as some of the cheaper vodkas out there.

Ever had grey goose? It's expensive, but if you like drinks that are mainly just alcohol then trust me, it's worth it. I made a cosmo(from scratch, not mix) the other day with grey goose instead of skyy, and wow....HUGE difference.

As for good cheap tequila, sauza ftw!

If I'm gonna drink beer its most likely gonna be either Shiner Bock or Bud Light. I am a fan of Mickey's malt liqour also.

As far as liquor goes: Jagermeister, Svedka vodka, jack daniels, 1800, hmm...im sure there's more

Yuengling, Guinness (Draught not stout), Killian's, Heineken, Warsteiner, and generally anything in Germany.

Oh, forgot Sam Adams and RR. Decent beers.

I was at this place today called 45th St. Pub, finishing my route today, and the bartender bought us all a round of Washinton Apples. It was incredible.

    Crown
    Apple Pucker
    Cranberry Juice

But, to illustrate my point in my original posts,
Hahahaha thanks we are just poor college students. I let my roommate have the last Miller
Earlier I wrote "Miller has the college kid demographic covered".

Well, until Coors Light stops giving me a very generous paycheck, I drink Coors proudly.

Where you from JP? Yuengling is brewed about 45 min away from my home town.

Kinda funny story about Yuengling too...last year for spring break me and some buddys went down to Florida, and at a restaraunt a few of us ordered them and the waitress charged us the import price. We told her it was brewed in PA, but she was insisting that Yuengling was an import. Eventually the manager came over and corrected her...he was from PA too so he bought us a round and sat down and BS'd with us. Was pretty cool. :D

Wow, Good think you guys werent too wasted to notice the import price lol. That could have turned ugly fast. Atleast you got a round of beer on the house for the misunderstanding, I call that a pretty good night.

I've had grey goose before, it's great stuff but the price is just wayyy to high for me.

    Skyy is good and cheap.

So, everyone is talking about yuengling. So, I had my roomate buy some about 10 minutes ago. You guys are right, it's goooood. Like whoa, really good.

It actually tastes a lot like this new orleans beer, I forgot the name, but it's brewed in new orleans and they don't profit on it, all profit is donated to the katrina relief fund.

Skyylya: Yeah grey goose is expensive, but that's why you get a bottle for vodka based drinks, and by that I don't mean screwdrivers. I mean stuff like a vodka martinis, or stuff where the drink is mostly vodka. For stuff like screwdrivers and sex on the beaches and stuff like that skyy is great =D

South Jersey, about 10 minutes outside of Philly.

I've been to the Yuengling Brewery (company thing) and it was very, very impressive.

They're the first brewery in the country, one of the most successful lagers bar none in the area (NJ, PA ish) and would make incredible profit if they'd expand out to other areas.

I agree with you 100% lol

But...i dunno i think in the last couple years i've lost my taste for Vodka type stuff. I used to drink vodka all the time when i was in high school, now it's strictly whiskey and rum that i buy with the occasional splurge of jager or tequilla. I can't explain why, i used to drink vodka like water, but i just can't seem to drink it that much anymore.
