liquor is something I don't mind drinking, especially very strong shit, for some reason i like how it goes down (the burning feeling isn't too bad :D ) but it's not something I do.

meh mixing liquor with anything else is too much effort. friday night i went to a show and managed to panhandle enough cash for a 26er of jack daniels, but then couldnt get any more money for a chaser lol just drank the whole 26er straight. needless to say i was pretty fucked....they wouldnt even let me into the show i went to see, partially cause i fell down the stairs infront of the owner lol

but um....favorite beers eh? im not gonna lie, i drink piss not beer. im a poor motherfucker who normally has to pan for booze money, no way am i buying some rich beer shit.

if somebody else is paying though, and they arent being cheap, i like alexander keiths. however thats expensive as fuck. normally i drink nothing but old english, black label supreme, lucky lager, or pabst (in order of favorite to least favorite). uhh tall cans of crest are pretty decent too, tastes somewhat like metal but thats probably just its high alchol content (10%, and well it is in an aluminum can lol)

haha...fuck buying beer actually. i brew my own, its so cheap. 20$ of ingredients makes about 10 gallons of beer, and well, last time i brewed beer it tasted amazingly good and had an alchol content of 14% lol

Back in college, it was all about the Keystone. 10 bucks for a 30 is attractive. Or the occasional fridge full of Murphy's/Guiness for St Paddys Day. Plus when I visited the Coors factory in Golden, the tour guide told us it was essentially the same beer as Coors, just marketed differently and priced more competively for our demographic. (And he laughed when I asked about the specially-lined can, since any can holding beer has to be specially lined or it would be pretty nasty, they just didnt have anything else to market on the can lol).

Since moving back to Portland its all about the microbrews. I've heard Portland is Microbrew per capita capital of the world or something like that. I love how all the small breweries here will put out specialty and seasonal beers all the time. At the last International Beer Festival there was some Bavarian beer called the Worldwide Stout that was something like 26% (that thing was nuts).

I dont really drink and "major" beer anymore unless its at a party or something, its usually not that much more for a craft beer or one of the many Widmer varieties (Hefeweisen is a good wheat beer, and they have one called Ice Axe thats a good dark porter seasonal).

For liquer its all about rum for me, usually spiced. Captains is a staple, I like that new Tattoo stuff (though I only tried one of those mini bottles). Sailor Jerry's is good, and that 8 year aged Bacardi is tasty too. Every once in a while a good glass of Bushmills on the rocks hits the spot too.

Never been much for beer, around here it's all about liquor, if people are broke, it's plastic bottle Crystal Palace and some sprite. But usually I just get some Bacardi whatever, easy enough to drink and after that i can usually stand some beer. Skyy is amazing though for the price.

i cant remember the name of it, but last night i drank this stuff that was $3.60 for a 40...and thats canadian money too. what i normally drink is i think $6.50 for a 40 of it, good beer too. goes down as easy as water.

im fairly certain they dont sell 30 packs of cans here in canada, atleast ive never seen one. then again im underage and dont spend much time browsing the beer store lol

and wow....even after you look at the fact that american dollar is so much higher then canadian and what not, thats pretty damn cheap.

depending on where you are, there are various ways you can buy beer. Where i live, they dont carry 18-pack bottles, but across the bridge in indiana, they do. Cheap beer you can usually buy in weird bulk cases.

well, ive drank in pretty much every city within a 3 hour drive of where i live and never seen these crazy 18 or 30 packs lol everything comes in 6/12/24, or you can buy like tall cans and 40's individually.
