Also, a 10K piece is worthless, CAUSE YOU CANT BREAK IT DOWN, Once you make a 10k piece you can only use for a stage 5 upgrade of a relic that requires that piece. So unless SE makes a way to break up a 10k piece, they have no reason to make it drop from anything.

Uh, one, its the full last upgrade for a relic weapon, you know, the most expensive part? Comparing the price of lv 1-4 vs. the lv 5 upgrade, the lv 5 upgrade is like 50% of the entire weapon.

And, two, you're wrong. When you turn in that 10,000 piece to get your lvl 5 weapon, you get a 3,000 currency kickback. So it is possible to get it broken down into smaller currency.

Someone (I think Nynja) was saying that if you talk to the Goblin about ancient currency he will specifically tell you "also, if you bring me a 10,000 Byne Bill, I'll give you one hundred 100 Byne Bills." or something, which would imply you coudl break it down. We had this discussion like a month ago and he screenshoted the goblin's text.

Moot point though, since it's pretty dumb to say the 10,000 currency is worthless. Who buys 100 currencies? People who are upgrading relics. Do people who are upgrading relisc need 10,000 currencies? Yes.

Yeah cause EVERYONE has a stage 4 relic weapon just waiting for the 10k piece. Sure you get a 3k return, IF you have a stage 4 ready to go and IF you get the right 10k piece for the relic your waiting on.

The point I was trying to make is, a 10k piece is worthless to anyone without a Stage 4 Relic. Cause you still have to get 1-4 done just to be able to anything with a 10k. Imagine all the useless 10k pieces out there if DL dropped it. Unless SE gave you a way to break it down into 100 pieces.

The information I was going on, was when we were trying to figure out the last piece for Winrafs sheild. Winraf was having trouble getting the last CS and this rumor was around that it was a random 10k piece. Tredvolt who also has a relic was really concerned about making any 10k pieces cause he was pretty sure, that once you make a 10k piece you cant break it down again. I shouldnt say pretty sure he seemed 100% sure.


The thing is a 10k piece only has value to someone who is actually going to upgrade a relic. Which is how many people? Only like 5 relics on Bismarck, and you also have to have the RIGHT 10k piece, for a certain relic. So to make it drop from the DL, AND have no way to break it down, and you have only a few people who ever got to stage 4, it wouldnt be too usefull. If there was a way to break it down, than yes it would be extremely usefull. And saying you get a 3k kick back from turning in a stage 4 relic isnt a great way to break it down imo.

Well, imagine how many people are stuck on lvl 4 relics but can't get the currency? The biggest issue for people is just getting the currency. Attestations...fragments, all that shit is easy, you can get like 8 attestations and 2 fragments in a single run without problems, the problem is accumulating currency.

If it were possible to get a 10k currency drop (which it isn't) then more people would have relics. And, there are only 3 possible currency's to have for the final upgrade, which means that there aren't a lot of variations and it wouldn't be 'that' hard to find someone who needed it. Maybe i'm a little jaded since i was with the best dynamis LS on gilgamesh and we clean house in dynamis, i know not all LS's are that successful but still...we've got like 17 ppl upgrading and like 5 ppl stuck at lvl 4 since (or close to it) there's so little currency to go around.

Also, i'm sure that it'd be possible to have some inter-dynamis LS trades going on if say you got 2 10k bynes and another LS got 2 10k shells and you both needed the other. (which is still irrelevant since it doesn't drop)
