PS3 Delay

the ps3 would certainly make a huge market deflation when it comes to blue ray devices..

i mean if they decieded to lower the price to 400$ for example, why would anyone want to spend over 2,000$ on a blueray dvd player right?

i dont see this happening really, because its not restricted to ps3s but used in other things such as HD quality movies and what not..

word of advice...start saving cash

er, Ulmega, the pictures I posted were just "mock designs" of what Nintendo could do with the controller. I saw another picture where instead of that gigantic shotgun, the controller was plugged into a smaller gun identical to the one from the NES for Duck Hunt. I just think the controller has the ability to be both "special" and "normal", depending on what kind of attachment its using/plugged in to.

And the fact that you got Xenogears for £5 makes you a whore. I paid the full $49.99 for mine when the game came out (came out right when Metal Gear Solid did, WHAT A GREAT FKING 2 weeks that was in my life).

The second disc of Xenogears is well, its obviously different and feels rushed because of a lack of interaction. Whenever I replay the game, I never really want the first disc to end, because I know the game is pretty close to being over. If the story and characters weren't just SO damn good, I might've been pissed at disc two. But I was just so in love with the game I didn't care.

I dream that someday Square will go back and create a directors cut, redo the 2nd disc and release the game. Too bad most of the staff from the game has moved on.

I know that, I'm just saying, look how easy it was for me to rip those mockups apart? If Nintendo aren't careful they'll end up with the biggest waste of money ever. It's interesting though, but it has a LOT of room for errors, I'm not that comfortable knowing that to be honest...

Sounds like a good week, I was amazed too, I almost pee'd myself. My friends didn't understand my excitement, oh well XD

I hoped that too, but I dunno, it felt different as hell but to see it in the free form way disc 1 had would be new, it also opens up for much more story and leveling =O

sadly.. I don't see them remaking Xenogears :\ especially since the creator of the game is no longer with square. It would be really hawt for them to remake it though. I loved Xenogears so much (still do :D) and think it really should be remade but... oh well.

I really wanna play Xenosaga, but I heard there weren't that many tie-ins with Xenogears, ehh, is it still worth playing? I was planning on getting it when I got my NA PS2 for KH2 lol

So I read this morning that all games on the PS3 will require the hard drive to play but they still aren't sure whether or not they'll package it with the console. I guess the PSX didn't teach them anything after all. At least a worldwide November launch is good for the often shit-on Europeans (not that I'll be buying one) whom really weren't expecting it anytime this year.

Oh and apparently the way the backwards compatibility will work is you'll be able to download PS1 and PS2 games from their free Xbox Live equivalent.
