Vrtra Question

Im sure you have talked about this many times, Im wondering if anyone can direct me to a good discussion on handling the links for Vrtra. Or if you really want to be nice post how your linkshell handled the links for Vrtra and the setup you used.

Setup add partys of BLMs+RDM+BRD and nuke them (can use MNK's but most people use those for the room pops). BRD can lullaby bones and I like to RDM/SMN for MPwhoreness and sleep the ghosts when they pop.

We kill Vrtra with SMNs, so we have a Kiting pt and a SMN kill pt, a couple random mages, like a BLM for stun and red mages for gravity. EVERYONE else is in another alliance and all they do is kill the spawns and adds.

5-8 blms in pt/ally claiming the mobs summoned for vrtra.
a melee pt killing the mobs that pop there.
and for vrtra:
tank pt.
stun/assist tank pt.
summoner pt.

Vrtra comes down almost entirely to the adds, and how well you can handle them. My LS will usually have 2 parties on Vrtra himself (Kite party and SMN party, RDM/DRK in each for stuns), maybe a 3rd party (oftentimes extra stunners, SAM/THFs, and BLMs for skillchain if we have enough on summons) depending on how many people we have there. The more BLMs you have on the summons the better, especially when Vrtra gets low on life they can pile up really bad. For the pops in the room just have some people basically xp off them.

And bring poison pots... lots and lots of poison pots...

And as for adding something constructive, most LSes that fight Vrtra load up on BLMs for the summons, and use nomad parties (MNK typically) for the pops in the room. Have a couple of BLMs in the main or RDM/DRKs to Stun Vrtra in place, and just kite it around the room, stopping it in fron of the SMNs in a corner for BPs while 2 stuns are use to keep it from going out of range. If you can keep adds under control, it's an easy fight.
