My party spent the like... 3 hours required to farm 6 CCBs and we went 1/1 with a lot of time to spare. We just threw one every 33% and it barely ever WS'd.
That being said, I heard Guided Missile and Equalizer are activated by using a WS?

I did this bc as pld and didn't have problems really. Did 2 dry runs with the group to get a feel for things and then we went all out and won, I also used a lot of hi potions on Omega as well as my 2hr after he did that pile pitch or w/e that acts like throat stab. Polymers are definantly a must for pld main tanking but they're not totally needed if you use a nin. We tried to use half and half on Omega and Ultima with the 2hrs and Polymers and we all brought plenty of meds to lend a hand so it payed off and I'd definantly have to say Omega was the harder of the two... Ultima hit me for suprisingly 30-50 points less than Omega tended to and the absence of enstun was wonderful.
PLD tank isnt as hard as people think, it's just alot more expensive...i think i lost the BC 7-8 times before i won, we kept losing to Omega because of it's gay ass Hundred Fists crap at low health..people werent able to damage it enough while Invincible was up. NIN tank being better at this is only true in some cases, PLD is better at tanking Ultima but NIN has an easier time tanking Omega because you have to kill it quickly and he hits hard.
If you go with a PLD tank, make sure the PLD has a shitload of hi pots and he has an earth staff to tank both omega/ultima. My PPT setup was PLD WHM RDM RNG BLM DRK, we had trouble killing Omega but Ultima was a pushover for us because of how many hi pots i had left over...if you go with a PLD tank i'd advise bringing at least 1 CCB to save for Ultima if he goes crazy with Equalizer.
the mammets are stupidly easy...you shouldnt worry about them at all
one ninja runs in agros them all, other melees pull them off one by one
if you have the luxury of having 2 ninjas, you can finish this BC while you're eating popcorn...
why 2 ninjas? well they deal good damage, and if one of them get 1 shotted, the other one can tank it through the fight while the other one reraise and recover from weakness..
a bard is a must with a ninja, 2 mambos make this a piece of cake...
on the other hand, choice of melee can be pretty wide...but i used monk..
i did around 900 dmg chiblast constintly(sp) and i didnt steal much hate a single voke could get them off me...
if you have a ranger in the group, it would be really harsh if he pulled alot of hate cause ull lose mp and might get aoe on the mages
