Only redeeming aspect of the trilogy. It was the only point in any of the new movies that I thought the actors gave a damn about the movie and actually acted. Major props to Ewan Mcgregor.Originally Posted by merper
And to Teepo, totally agree. Donnie Darko is such an amazing movie.
Actually, I think John williams may have carried much of the trilogy. I mean despite the crappy script and bad acting, you have to admit that when the first chords of Dual of Fates struck up when the doors opened to reveal Darth Maul, that gave you chills. Likewise the love theme in the second movie and the Battle of the Heros during that final fight in Ep3 were all incredible. The movies may have sucked but the music still had that star wars feel.Only redeeming aspect of the trilogy
You're right. The Dual of Fates song really made me feel as if the Darth Maul fight was pretty special.Originally Posted by merper
Everyone knows Donnie Darko is a great movie, to even mention it here isn't fair because you can't really pick a favourite scene (or I can't).
I'd like to put the Fifth Element here too, cause I fucking loved that movie, best scene for me was the opera singing fight and maybe that crazy gun demonstration.
Kinda funny that the worst Star Wars movie has, in my opinion, the greatest lightsaber battle. I could watch Qui-Gon Jin & Obi-Wan vs Darth Maul over and over and over and never get sick of it.
I can't really think of John Williams without laughing anymore since that episode of Family Guy put him up for a woody for best music in a porno.
I tried, It made me feel very tired. I got up to the part where they are laughing eating dinner inside brad pitts house.Originally Posted by Lockecole

Ricky-Oh ~ Meatgrinder scene.
I still can't help but wonder how they managed to snag Leonard Nemoy for Galvatron.Originally Posted by Gilanth
