Family Guy is good, but ever since it was resurrected it seems they've just been rehashing old jokes as if to say "HAY GUYS, WE'RE BACK LOL" over and over again.

American Dad has its moments, but it feels to me like a carbon copy of Family Guy with different characters. Most of the funny stuff in one show could be done just as well in the other. (Don't both shows share the same writers anyway?)

I felt that they did this for the first few episodes of season four but they haven't really been rehashing shit for a while now. It annoyed me (especially when they literally reused the "whoa, is that really the blood of Jesus Christ?" animation) but at the same time I understood why they did it. Crappy scheduling or not, bottom line is Family Guy was cancelled the first time around because not enough people watched it so maybe more saw it that hadn't the first time around.

And while on the subject of rehasing jokes, how about in 'Fat Guy Strangler' when Brian threw that stone at Peter for winding up the window of the General Lee? I wonder how many people got that, I know I did and was in fucking tears for about five minutes.
