Question:
Why do you consider this a T0, when its a 95 synth?
If you are gonna use the subcraft argument, then why is onyx cuisses clearly a T1 rate, but the leather sub is 61? (tiger leather)
Which leads me to my last question:
Why are some recipies HQ rate clearly hampered by its sub crafts (Hauby), and some arent what-so-ever (onyx legs)?
Panazawa made a berk-1 the other day on his lv 92 smithing mule.
Uh, just because a synth uses an ingredient from another craft doesn't mean the subcraft requirement is at least as high as that ingredient would cap at. There are a bunch of synths using ingredients that cap higher than the actual subcraft requirement. Example: VerdunOriginally Posted by ezikiel

* Spinel x1
and considering Adaman Ingot caps at 91 smithing...

I see. But that would still make Verdun a T0 synth as far as the smithing requirement. Obviously the synth couldnt require you to have higher than 60 smithing.Originally Posted by Theraven
So basically you are saying that SE made the sub craft synth requirements to make things harder/easier to HQ with no real rhyme or reason? I guess thats a rhetorical question.
So do you think they drew numbers from a hat to pick the sub caps for synths?
This is SE we are discussing here, do you really want an answer to that?Originally Posted by ezikiel
