You're the first person I've heard of getting around 10%, everyone who I have talked to has gone around 1/25+. Skeetaru being 1/37 or some crap like that, which leads me to my half-assed conclusion that this is a tier0. If the Leather is any higher than 50(which more than likely it is if you think about it) then its a tier0, as I said I will find the subcraft for this in the near future.

All 3 synths use some combination of angel skin, tiger leather, and wyvern scales. In fact, the only difference between this synth, and cursed gloves (which has conclusively been proven to be a tier 1) is an additional piece of tiger leather. Any reason why the leather sub on the gloves and subligar would be tier 1able, while the sub on leggings is 50+(which it apparently "more than likely is if you think about it")?

You make the assumption that going 1/25 or 1/37 on a synth disqualifies it from being tier 1. I'm no statistics major or anything, but going 1/25 on a synth where you have a 10%(or less, depending on who you ask) HQ rate is probably not that uncommon. Show me a group of people consistently going 1/25(I.E. going 10/250), and then perhaps you are right. But to HQ 1 out of 25 is hardly proof that the synth is T0.

Actually, if you want to get technical you were the one who made the assumption of the leggings being tier1 due to your 10% HQ rate which you yourself said wasn't a large sample size. I myself have talked to 5 people on my server all of which are 1/19+ (1/19,1/20,1/23,1/26,1/36). Thats an average of almost 1/25 which certainly could or could not be tier1 in which I said in >my< opinion it is tier0. It could go either way but without anyone posting for certain the appropriate sub level its all a guessing and opinions game in which you are entitled to yours and I am to mine.

If you can show me any basis as to why gloves and subligar are both level 41 leathercraft, but for some reason leggings(which are almost the EXACT same synth as gloves) is 50+ leathercraft, then perhaps I'll consider your ideas. Until then, you're just arguing for the sake of not admitting you're wrong.

Actually I could also say that you are arguing for the sake of being right. I admitted the possibility of them being tier1, I also provided you with sample size of over 100 synths and the average was 1/25 in which implies a possible tier0. Also explain to me why the Leggings wouldn't be different? Is it just because the synthesis items are similar? It can go either way. In the end it comes down to your opinion vs mine in which we are both entitled to it and until proven otherwise we should just continue the SS thread instead of a simple argument over opinions.

h8 j00 all etc. Thanks for the input, I'll still attempt on searching for someone leveling Bonecraft without Leather sub to finalize the deal. However my original conclusion what brought me to the tier0 theory was lack of experience of people crafting them, and people who did in fact craft them had obscenely low HQ rate. My mistake guess I made my craft a Tier0 \:D/

I know the rest of the data on this post supports it, but I don't think by saying its tier1 because you 1/1 is anything more than pure luck. If you don't remember someone was 1/1, as well as 1/2 on genie weskit, which is to my, and everyone elses, knowledge a tier0 (sorry to bring that up TSM). Sorry to post negatively about this but I'm a fan of support on a specific before saying for certain.

With saying that I read over the last three pages where people posted positive/negative support for the tier1 on Cursed Leggings-1 and found, assuming skeets 1/37 is correct from a source other than skeet, a 7/107 (6.5% hq). Removing this data since since I don't know if its correct or not we find 6/70 (8.57% hq). I know crafting is all a bunch of bloody luck (see Ramzii's 7 Genie's) but from my experience (<3 statistics/odds) the more data, in terms of stats/odds, the more likely it is to be true. Long winded way to say; I support tier1 being possible on Cursed Leggings-1 even though I say 1/1 is an awful way to say 'its true!' (went 3/12 on tier0 skilling up before... does that mean its tier2?!).

Bash the taru if you like, <3 the taru if you like, but you have to admit on a large scale test (see the HQ topic, mainly the post by detlef) laws of average win out over pure luck.

Is it really true that Sheikh Manteel is T0 (Cloth 60 sub)? There seems to be so many of them HQ'd, and its not like they are powercrafted as much as Cursed mitts -1 etc because the ingreds are rarer oO

Anyway... a small update on my lolcrafting.

0/48 Prism Cape, 0/31 Mahatma Hpl. Only things I can still HQ at the same rate are my T2's

Back when I was cutting subligar for cashmere, I contracted a goldsmith with 95/57 clothcraft to make manteels. I had her get cloth support, naturally. She got a 0.1 cloth skillup on one of them. That makes it teir 0, even if the subcraft is not all the way at 60.
