All these tier0 HQs look more like the result of a duping session, to me. The materials for those synths are sold in a *limited* amount everyday : ~12 Dragon Talons per day according to ffxiah, perhaps a few more since people tend to buy more than 10 of these at a time, so not all purchases are listed and retrieved/registered by the site.

Ok, you can be lucky and craft 2-3 in a couple days, perhaps 4-5 on a very lucky streak, but that Era guy has a long history of making tons of bonecraft pricy HQs. In the long run, it takes more than 12-15 or even 20-30 synths to HQ a tier0 synth, and that guys seems to HQ and sell one every other day ><

So IMO, either he's the central point of an organisations focused on gathering tons of crafting materials by various means other than AH, or he dupes. The large organisation thing is very possible, and it would mean that some people take their gaming hours or rmt job very seriously...but I say he dupes.

I don't think he dupes. He's been making those fucking Weskits for as long as I remember. I saw that JP bastard go 1/2 on Cursed Harness -1.

this might have been dupable along the same lines as black soles however since most of Era's HQ's were done back in 2006 before most people knew about packets and had the capabilities to manipulate them i doubt it was done in that way

Duping is not necessarily related to packets forging, it can simply be a "hole" in the game mechanics, usually related to lag or disconnection errors it seems. I remember S-E fixing several holes in the DBox system back in 2004, that could be exploited to duplicate items (send an item to another char and still have the item in your inventory). There was another way to duplicate items by trading and quickly zoning to a very busy zone. Lakshmi has had obvious dupe-masters back in 2004-2005 (hi2u mule with Kraken x10 in RolanBazaar)...and I guess it was the same on all servers.

I see no reason why there wouldn't be any way left to dupe. Especially since they are very well kept secrets...I just wish I knew about these methods before they were patched....................I could use a couple relics right now ^^v
