Remora's been having similar problems with idiots either trying to budge others out of the market, or just plain stupid and losing gil every time they craft. I've looked into the odds and the math of every synth, and while SH still makes money (always will), weskit runs you down about 20-30m per HQ, and Nobles is loss as well. Cursed Mitts -1 barely breakeven at a generous tier0 HQ rate.

I've noticed one crafter in the cursed mitts area who also does Gold and is well known to be rich on my server. I assume he makes gil via gold and cuts down some cloth markets while he hopes they bounce back up and others have looked away and moved on.

Cursed Mitts break rate is only 5%... considering it takes 50-100 tries to make a tier 0 HQ, that's only 2-5 breaks. @ 600k loss per synth, that's 30-60mil per HQ, and it's rare for an HQ to take 100 @ tier 0. So yeah, on your server it's still profit.

Hairs cost 1,600,000, and other materials end up being about 200k.

Last pair of Cursed Mitts sold for 1,100,000 now, with 9 still up, and they don't sell too often and will most likely drop even more, especially if that person gets HQ Mitts and wants to sell off the rest of their NQs fast (when I made that post, they were selling for 1,200,000)

According to HQ Rate and Break rate, 94 NQs, 5 breaks, 1 HQ; you would end up with about a 20 million loss if you sold the Mitts-1 for 50 million(50 is what most people offer on Midgardsormr, even if they know every other offer I had gotten was the same)

Of course there is a chance that you could HQ long before you hit 100, and even multiple HQs, and still there is a chance that you won't even get an HQ on the way to 100. All I was looking at was the HQ and break rates.

When I would make a pair of Cursed Mitts while skilling up a month to a few weeks ago, it was pretty much a break even synth, and I ended up going 1/4 on HQ with no breaks, so it was about 70-80 Million (in items) profit for me

its not Clothcrafters, its flyingkick. He has unlimited gil for obvious reasons, and is trying to get samadams(99+3cloth) to make him cmitts-1 before sama quits june 1st. =\

NQ cursed mitts look to be about a 1mil loss on our server, again due to the same problem that i mentioned for bonecrafting, and again from someone in that same linkshell.

hey ppl, i made 2 culverin+1 in like 2 weeks i sold it to LS mates for 8.5M, some ppl said i coulda sell it for 15-20M coz no one really has it in Hades (well theres 1 in AH history but he sold it to himself).

Im still skilling up on those, Im @98.5 and I hope ill get a few more HQs. so by the time I hit 100 Im not gonna be a 1 broke taru.
