I love being interupted on blm. It's sort of a hand slapping you on the wrist. Like for example Im nuking something and during the middle of a cast I steal hate for some reason; the mob smacks me like its bitch, someone else gets hate, and it gets interupted. Now if it wasnt interupted I'd have a shit-ton of hate cause I was already high on the list and another spell immediatly after woulda sealed the deal.

While we're off-topic though, I love spell interruption merits. I try to use them as a life-saving thing, often soloing, or any sleep/bind/gravity, where getting that spell is what will buy you the time to survive. Besides, as a taru, if I pull hate for one hit at some HNMs, it's enough to do the job. ._.

Anyway, Fenrir is fucked up, and demand to perfect melee jobs just isn't there. I know of at least 2 other people trying to sell Haubergeon +1s right now. I just had another one returned today. ; ;

lol ror, yeah i dunno why i couldnt sell melee items, ive been trying to sell some luisant gears, but no one wants to buy it, i saw a few people trying to sell hauberk+1 and haubergeon+1 for a couple weeks...

i think i made a mistake leveling smithing... i hope new expansion will fix this >.>

lower the price then lol. an item is not worth the price of the last sale on the AH. an item is worth how much people will pay for it. If you have luisant gear and it's not selling, it's because it's not worth the price you're asking for it. I never understood why people have such a hard time sacrificing a few hundred k of profit to get the item out the door quicker.

Example:
Let's say there's a certain item I make for profit. It's a 10% item, the cost to make it is 300k, and the NQ sells for 150k on the AH.

If I price this HQ for 5 million it will take 1 week to sell. If I price it for 4.3 million it will take 4 days to sell. Every time one sells I make 10 more.

Net Profit from one batch with HQ priced at 4.3 million
[4300k - 300k] - [9 x (300k-150k) ]
= 4000k - 1350k
= 2650k

Net Profit from one batch with HQ priced at 5 million
[5000k - 300k] - [9 x (300k-150k) ]
= 4700k - 1350k
= 3350k


Amount of profit after 28 days
With 4.3 million HQ = 2650k x 7 = 18.6 million
With 5 million HQ = 3350k x 4 = 13.4 million

Now, you tell me, which is the better choice? Please note that the example I used is actually real, and this is a synth I actually make a lot of money from. While everyone else and their mothers is pricing the HQs at 5 million, i'm pricing them at around 4 million and selling in bazaars.

I've been doing it for a while, and it's been pretty consistent for about as long as I can remember. Regardless, however, the point remains the same. Whenever I see people talking about how they HQed 2 of something in a row and they can't sell it I just laugh. In most cases you could lower the price 20% or more and still make a really nice profit off of it. People are just too blinded by "AH prices" and "market prices" and thinking that they must set their price to a certain number or else they're getting cheated.

Latest Haubergeon+1 returned was up for 20m, when history is 26-29 Smithing is lame on our server, and apparently Hades too. There's also a pair of Alky bracelets going down 5m every 2 days in bazaar for the last few weeks. It started at 70m and is now 35m; maybe in a few days, his price will collide with my haubergeon+1 at 10m and we can trade. =l

I did use it...from mid-60's pld to 73, where I've taken a break and muled all my pld gear. I was keeping the hauby around still for when I went back to it but I needed the gil. Other information in my above post.

its stupid to use someone else to make money, even if you do "pay him out" you better pay him out the difference between nq price and hq

yeah price is still going down even more. o well at least SE for once did a good job on gilsellers, but apparently its hurting crafters lol... life just doesnt work that perfect >.>
