Props to the crafter for actually giving that shit back while only recieving 5M...lol I would have waited until I was garunteed some....very large amount of money. Too bad he didn't know the guy he was giving the HQ to was a douchebag.

It's pretty standard English grammar. I think commas were hard to understand at age 12. So get back 8th grade and re-read it. Seriously though, that was the dumbest comment / flame I have ever recieved. I don't see how I'm behind, I am bringing up a very good topic that no one ever discusses much. Of course this a crafter forum so my view in your eyes is mute. Maybe we should move to this to all of FFXI talk. I am positive people support my views on this. You people need to get off of your high horse. My eyes hurt from trying to process whatever it is this was trying to say Sad Quit while you're behind dude.
P.S. I don't know l33t speak or w/e to make you understand me better. >.>
No no. Just go back to Zam or wherever it is you came from. You would not fare very well in the FFXI forum.Originally Posted by MillerLite02

Yes. Many leeches and lazy asswipes would support the idea of making TWO HUNDRED MILLION GIL off someone else's work. It took alot of work to fishbot the 20m to buy that cloth eh?I am positive people support my views on this.
Sure.
No I am not an ass, and I do believe I could "survive" on internet forums. O what is you all say ROFLMAO or something. Ya I don't care what people say. You know what Raineer you really shouldn't craft for people that you don't know then. Simple as that. A lot of people do go to crafter's just for the chance of the HQ. When it happens the crafter is happy, but the synthee is even happier because he just made a lot of money. 99.9% of the time HQs are worthless over NQ. So the synthee just does sell it on the AH. Yes it sucks for the crafter, but as I said just synth for people you can trust.
I have been known to stab people like this.Originally Posted by MillerLite02

Again, your ignorance is amazing me. There is NO need to fishbot anymore. Of course your Fishing is probably still Moat Carp level I bet, so you would have no clue on this. Fish botting destroyed the economy, yes RMTs do fish bot but you'll see them dead more times then not because of fished mobs.Originally Posted by Raineer
Great how u say theres no need to fishbot anymore....yet have yet to say that you didn't fish bott ur current fishing level.Originally Posted by MillerLite02

I will tell you that I am loling right now, and since you "don't know l33t speak" that means I'm laughing out loud at you. Your post was most definately not written using "pretty standard English grammar," and I feel sorry for you if commas were hard for you to understand at age 12. I find it funny that your response was telling me to reread your remarks, when it is you that should edit your own rambling, non-sensical excuse for a post. Asking for readable posts is not riding a high horse.Originally Posted by MillerLite02

I find it amusing you think people support you on this. If you are on Pandemonium send me a /tell, I'll give you 100 gil to buy yourself a clue. In the mean time go back to drinking your cheap piss beer Mr. MillerLite02.
well, this is sort of a double edged sword. Yes, i am a crafter. I have 3 crafts at 90+ ( bone, leather, gold). I see a lot of greedy crafters and some stupid non-crafters. If a crafter sets a fee it should take into account the rarity and cost of the HQ in question, that way there is no pissing and moaning about whether or not said item gets sold. Whoever said that if a high ticket item gets sold the one doing the selling should give the crafter half is an idiot. If i go to a stock broker with a little money, and he makes it into a lot do i have to give him half? NO!! Why? I take the risk, and he makes a commision based on the worth of the investment, that is life, and if you do not like it too fuckin bad.
Yes it sucks if you HQ for some random person, but it is also nice to make millions for a few seconds of work regardless. If it is killing you that much, make shit for yourself only and dont do contracts. No balls, no babies my friends. So, set your fee high or low i dont give a rats ass, but do realize that once you set a fee, and it is honored, that item is no longer yours in any way shape or form.
I didn't fish bot to my level. Sorry. My main job is RDM 75, but after experiencing end-game I decided to focus on Fishing, which was about 6 months ago.Originally Posted by marius
A lot of my commission fees are based on the understanding that the item is not to be sold. That's if I decide to craft at all; I turn down a vast majority of the people who ask me nowadays.Originally Posted by Flash
Meh, whatever. I wasn't writing an essay so I am sure there a mistakes, but it wasn't that hard to understand. The whole comma argument is funny as well, because you are too dense to think of your own comeback. Pretty pathetic. You guys are missing my point obviously. I am not saying a person should rip off a crafter of an HQ. The crafter needs to protect his ownself and settle on an adequate HQ fee if it happens. The crafter doesn't have any control on breaks I know this, but it does suck when it happens. The crafter can continue on with his day no problem at all. The synthee now has to redo all his work to acquire said items. In the end it evens out between your breaks and people ripping you off. I am gonna bold something and quote myself so that the last sentence shouldn't happen. " The crafter needs to protect his ownself and settle on an adequate HQ fee if it happens. Just come to an agreement about how the situation will be handled if the synth HQs, NQs, or breaks. If there is a clear agreement before the item is synthed, and someone in the agreement doesn't fulfill their part, the other person should call a GM, they will resolve it if there is a clear agreement that was made before.
Like, if Person A approached Crafter B for the synthesis of a certain item, and before it was synthed, they both came to an agreement that: Person A would recieve a NQ if that was the result; Person A would recieve a HQ if that was the result; and Crafter B wouldn't assume any responsibility if the item broke, if that was the result. As long as they agreed on these terms: Crafter B wouldn't be able to keep the HQ if that was the result of the synth; Person A wouldn't be able to make Crafter B assume responsibilty for a break if it occured; etc.
If part of the agreement is um.. violated? Call a GM, they really do handle situations between players, if there was a clear agreement between the two before the situation happened, this includes Trades, Casinos, and even Crafting. If Crafter B wouldn't give Person A the NQ/HQ that was the result of the synth, after they made their agreement, then a GM would return the item to Person A. GMs can't restore or compensate for items or gil (or exp), but they are able to return items and gil (not exp) to players.
Unless the GM lied to me
Why? Fishing is a craft is it not? I have as much right as you do to be here.Originally Posted by Erza
