No, I consider 71 goldsmithing to be "not levelled". All the cost to goldsmithing is basically the huge pit that you have to fill with gold ingots in the 70s; there's no sense crossing it unless you plan to hit 106.

if you are taking gold past 60 it is most likely your main craft and just because you can't flat out get it to 106 at the time does not make it useless

right now i'm at 73+2, nothing special and i know that. I'm in the process of trying to sell of most of my HQ gear to get myself into the mid-upper 80's probably the 90's depending on if prices don't drop to much and stuff sells.

even at 73+2 though, i can make really good money on certain things, market pending of course.

and, for the money you spend, that won't get much better until you hit 106 really.

A lot of HQ's are becoming not even worth the effort. Example: 12 victory rings on the AH at 500k a piece. Puissance rings 10 on the AH at 70k a piece. Triumph earrings are 3.3 million with 4 up. Phantom +1's sell once a month. Melody earrings fluctuate. Morions are not to bad, but the HQ rate just does not seem to follow the tiers for me, and so on and so on.

Well you just have to play the market game. Theres much more recipe then what you've listed that is pretty good money. You could always try the T0 route :X IE: Kaiser Shield or HQ cursed. It just all depends on your luck.

When i say really good money, i don't mean i'm rich with 100+ million gil making 5 mil a day. I mean if i want to sit down and craft i can churn out a pretty nice profit for nearly no gil. It's all about knowing what to, and not to synth.

If you wanna make triumphs that are hard to hq and it costs you 2 mil to make 3 mil, why not just spend about 50k to make 1 mil.

depends on what you synth i suppose. I'm not saying i can sit down and synth and make that every day, but other than sitting out spending a ton of money on synthing lvl 36 and 54 rings, there are other things requiring cheaper ingreds that are easy to hq and sell well. Don't wanna get into specifics.

But like i said, it's not something to do every day, but when the market is right you can make a lot of money and spend near nothing.
