lol, this topic is funny and true. I really can't stand people calling filters art. Some of the kids back in my freshmen class were horrible.

However, a few well placed filters in a nice angled FFXI picture could be good enough for something like this. The blur of color doesn't count.

I chose that as a winner because what you have to remember is the fact that these are going to be used as backgrounds, not display images. Therefore, abstract is/was welcomed because you're not going to so a lot of the background anyway. These particular submissions won because they took that into account, regardless of how they were made.

And as for any copyright issues, anyone who is the original creator of any artwork seen in the Signatures are free to email Vana'Guide and request that they be taken down. You can find the feedback form http://www.vanaguide.com/?action=submit&area=news

The signatures will be added to the application at the end of the week and you'll also be seeing some welcome changes to the application itself. Thanks to everyone who submitted.
