Euvhi Organs? Broken? Any ideas?

My experience with these organs is that farming the tough ones in the palace is a waste of time, I am about 1/200 for them over the course of several months. I took 4 hours in the garden to get 5 of these organs, i've even come back to help others and it took significantly less time. Hope it helps, i did it solo, it's also alot easier to solo in the garden using the terrain to your advantage.

I've seen Yorva resist BLM ES sleep at least two times while duoing it with a NIN. However, I've always been able to hit when I get aggro'd by one, when I don't pay attention.

Talking about all mobs in general, not just yorvas/euvhi....

With the exception of xzomits, all Om's have better droprates than Ul's. The Om's in the north have the same droprate as Om's in the south.

wow at the horror stories, I got 4 in 45 minutes in ruhmet, soloed, I had already had 1 from awhile even before that, and like a stack of tissues, you guys must have bad luck, I've tossed 10+ since.

I had to take a break from farming Euvhi Organs. I've spent a lot of time in Ru'Hmet soloing Euvhis, and I have compiled 15 luminian tissue and 3 euvhi organs -_-; I'll just wait to get some from sea farming..

Meh, it's time consuming, but it's +2 hMP ontop of Boroka Earring/Magnetic Earring... Always nice to strive to keep your MP high.

I've had pretty decent luck farming the ones in ruhmet, at the Taru tower where Faith pops. I had to farm 10 cause I was an idiot that traded in wrong chip but it really didn't take too long. Maybe 2 merits or so of farming and easy to chain solo. (Never have to sleep/bind because of terrain)

I got 4/5 of mine in huxzoi. Had really shitty luck in ruh met, and if you can get to the spot in huxzoi (Bottom floor, middle connection area) like 9 euvhi spawn there that are quick kills.

Can you elaborate on this spot? 9 Euvhis in close proximity sounds pretty nice compared to running all over.

How do you use the terrain? And how do you avoid the fast spinning pots, which you have a 1/50 chance of not being seen by?

Yea if anyone has a trick to avoid the fast pots I'd love to hear it. They're the only thing that give me problems anywhere in Lumoria.

As for farming there's 2 good places I know of in Ruhmet:

First, H-7 on the first map. 2 Euvhis on each side, plus easy access to 2 more on each side behind one ghrah.

Second, by the JoF pop in the hume tower. There's 3 on each side, plus access to the central room for easy kiting if you need it. I can't remember if there are any ghrahs to deal with tho...

I as whm, duo'd the VTs in Ru'humet with a thief with th3, he tanked them NP with haste and when i debuffed them, we got 3 to drop in a matter of 2 hours. Previously i had gotten my other 2 in the grand palace, which took me a week of daily farming. The gardens is def a better place to go.

To avoid fast moving pots, simply start running the moment it's facing the doorway that you're passing. By the time you start running at that point, the pot will have already turned 90 degrees and you have the remaining ~270 degrees to make it to the other side before it sees you.

Edit: It may take some practice (and you may have to account for some lag), but once you get the hang of it, it's fairly simple. If running at the moment it faces the doorway doesn't work, try running when it's 45 degrees before it would be facing the doorway.

The idea is the pot spins fast enough that it won't see you when it seems it should and does see you when it looks like it shouldn't.

As nivlakian said, the trick for the fast-moving pots is accounting for lag from when you press the button to start running and when the server actually processes it. To get an idea of how much lag you have, dualbox another character if possible and you can see just how much ahead of time you have to start running. ^^

You don't really need 9 euvhi if you're soloing. They're 5 minutes pop and chances are you'll only get to #4 and the first 1 would have respawned. I like the the Euvhi in Rumhet, you can roam the rooms north and south of each other.

I've needed 1 organ for months and they keep going to people who have like 0-2 organs. Pisses me off.
