Almost all the FFXI GM's were at the Fan festival wearing a Event Staff shirt with a name tag that said their GM name on it. They sabotaged the Odin table and used it for lunch T_T lol, so it wasnt too hard to find him.

Considering I don't take these things seriously save the Q&A, I'd seriously think about punching a GM I don't like then running away. It would be a nice attention grabber, if nothing else.
