Guess the Game....

My 5yr old son played a video game at someone's house, and he really wants it for his own. I am a sucker for my kids...so naturally I want to get it for him. The issue is, he is 5, and has no idea what the name of the game is. Not only that, but I don't know where he played it...so I cannot call anyone to find out. I am at a loss. So I turn to the wise gamers of the BG boards for help.

Without furthere adue......time to play name that game! Below is a description gained from intense interrogation of a 5yr old. System is also unknown at this point.

- The good guys appearently are a fox, a rabbit, and possibly a lizard.
- The bad guy is seemingly a pig. I am not clear on this one.
- You can get into tanks, and possibly planes. You definately control and shoot with the tanks. Not sure about the planes..but you can ride them.
- You hold down "A" to do the super shot with the tank (This effectivly eliminates PS2 platform)
- You press "C" to get into a tank.
- It has 2 player mode.
- There is a purple character that cannot be identified as an animal.


This is all I know. Remember....this description is from a 5yr old. Any ideas?

First line sounds like StarFox Adventures on the GameCube or w/e it's called lol

That was my first guess.....but it does not appear to be 2 player.

Sly Cooper is PS2. Unfortunatlely, his description specifically mentioned holding the "A" button for a "super shot" PS2 does not have an A button.

well starfox for nintendo 64 had a falcon, rabbit and frog as the 3 good guy pilots, but the bad guy wasnt a pig it was a monkey so i dunno. one stage in that was with a tank but you never got in or out haha.


find out the platform; gamecube, nintendo 64, even genesis haha thatll make it easier to narrow this down

I would've said Grand Theft Auto 3 but he probably owns that just like every other five year old.

Sounds like a StarFox game but last time I checked no Nintendo controller ever posessed a C button.

Apparently you never learned to maneuver in StarFox, I liked all range mode =P

It's definitely Star Fox Armada for the Gamecube. You can't get in and out of the vehicles in Star Fox 64, but in Armada, you can run around on foot a little bit too.

Yes, and the new startfox also has multiplayer mode (a crappy FPS) where you can get into and out of tanks. Also the C button they are referring to, I believe would be the C stick.
