It is not really considered rumor or finger pointing maxymo, it is considered more of a fact that he jacked ls funds. One piece of dragon meat is hardly what i would cal lvl'ing my cooking. The only time i have ever had a SH +1 of my own is when i crafted it myself. What i did get was a discount on an SH.

Lets look at Ecurb. According to those that defend him he worked tirlessly for the linkshell, correct? Pray tell me where he got the funds to power level his smithing and all sub crafts? He will tell you that it was in ifrit's cauldron, which is a lie. He stopped going there after the linkshell got busy. Ecurb also had darn good gear in comparison to everyone in the linkshell, and continually bought things and sold them, not only did he sell them, but he sold them for a large loss most of the time. Ecurb never farmed, or camped NM's for gil. He was always either in jeuno afk, afk during our dynamis's but would magically appear to lot AF, or afk in sky while the linkshell farmed. One has to wonder where he got all the gil to do all of this since he never really did anything. This view is not accepted as fact by just me, but by a goodly amount of people. Perhaps if he was forthcoming on how the linkshell fund was used there would not be so much suspicion. I suppose that is what happens when there are no controls in a system.

Perhaps i am ungrateful, i will take the time to fix that. Ecurb, thanks for the slice of dragon meat, i am not sure if i got a skill up from it, but that red curry was dear to me.

ok i don't wnat to start fighting and stuff but theres some things i MUST say.
1st off imo ecurb was a great ls leader, face it most of you wouldn't of gotten the chance to do half the shit we got to do together
2ndly Ecurb was not stupid guy, he didn't go handing out items to ppl who didn't come to events...
3rdly if your whining you didn't get enough of somthing thats just greed, and well i don't think ppl who would rather get some broken sea missions done then help their ls do scheduled events should get SHIT

First off more then half the people in FF ls wouldnt have gotten all the stuff from sky it wasnt for me, mukuu, elixia, mikey, divadial, ukun and a few other who was up n in sky doing pop items like everyday. Half the people had to be nagged over tells to come up and help, but when it comes god time everyone is rushing to get there. I was a co-leader and i tried to show that by getting all these pop items, so dont give me bs about me not helping, if you want facts i got my warrior from level 71 to 75 doing pop items and no i never went to ulli to level, it was all despot, getting waters, zip, and steamcleaner. Alot of people never helped with jackall in the ls but yet they were rewarded with items because they happen to be there when it dropped and got to lot it along with the people who deserve the stuff.

to ppl like me it was used to help lvl his craft which inturn would allow the ls to have a high lvl craft where stuff could be made for the shell. For the ppl who didnt like FF it was him stealing money to lvl his craft. it depends on who you talk to. he used the money most likely, i dont deny that, but its up to the person on how they view it.

The point of hiring a crafter to HQ something for you is that you will keep the end product to /use/ not to sell. At least that's my understanding of it. Sure I could make profit behind his back by selling it, but where's the honor in exploiting others?

to request the time of a crafter, you pay for NQs and HQs

the more the crafter fails (be it the synth you chose, and whether you're going for NQ or HQ) the more the crafter makes money (if they charge per synth, most give a small fee for NQ, high fee for HQ)

they make money off of you, while you pay them and pray for good luck on success/HQ

what happens after that --- to the item, is the business of the person that made it.

i can understand being mad about making things for free, and people just wasting the crafter's time, while making profit (if success/HQ); but if fees are in place, there really shouldnt be an issue >_>
