Yeah, that reminds me of older final fantasy games where 1 boss would have multiple targettable places on its body. Like that boss you fight on the mine cart in FF6 when you're escaping the Magitech research plant.

Or even better, Neo-Exdeath, king of multi-target bosses.

How to fix that with ease!

New multi-target system, Body = Name, heads = unnamed unless targetted, and are a dark purple(any colour) to indicate sub-target. Only way of targetting a head is if body is claimed, body is claimed aslong as anyone in the alience has 1 head.

Whee everyone wins.



The only multi-target boss I can think of in FFXI, is ZM17's boss with Exoplates, and it works quite ok, Cant deal dmg to boss without killing those first.

I think Wafiks idea is similar to what SE might be doing; why else would they hype up a potential new HNM and not others. There must be something significant to it. :wink:
