speaking of those games, it looks like they made it to be very similar to their old counterpart, but made it into 3d (super mario bros, zelda), do you think it will be a new trend for DS games? all games can be made in 2d plane-3d graphic all they want, but metroid dread should remain in 2d Q_Q I wouldn't be surprised if pokemon diamond looks similar to this zelda (3d in top down angle)

I know somebody who got rez+the 'trance vibrator', and a girlfriend around 2 weeks later. 2nd date, they barely have even kissed, she walks in on him playing rez, sees the vibrator, grabs it, and proceeds to get off to him playing Rez.

I heard about people doing that, I think there was even a video of some japanese girl doing it lol.

That depends on what you mean by "remake".

I know for a fact we'd all take FF7 remade with 3d graphics and CG quality movies but I don't think we'd take a simple port, which is what Nintendo does with their collection of Super Mario games and whatever else in their NES/SNES library and simply dumps them on the Game Boy and now "Revolution"...which isn't revolutionising anything.

Besides, the point of my post was; next-generation consoles are for next-generation games, the fact that they play older games is a bonus. Buying a next-gen console solely for old games is fucking ass backwards.

All consoles are expected to be backwards capable, Nintendo took it to the next level.

I own an Xbox, PS2, Gamecube, and now Xbox360. Maybe we're playing different things, but I'm still waiting for next-gen games. Pretty graphics with reused gameplay does not equal next-gen to me. I much more enjoy playing older games because they focused less on graphics (by force) and way more on gameplay. So sick of the past 5 years of shit.

They are setting a standard that future consoles should be able to live up to: that timeless games should survive (legally) and be supported. Anyways, thats not the big deal, its the fact that its the next gen of gameplay instead of just graphics that makes it a revolution.

FF7 remade would be a waste of time and money.

FF7 remade would certainly NOT be a waste of money. I think it would be leet as all hell. Also remember they stopped printing the "greatest hits" ps1 games. Give it another year or two and a remade release would be golden.
