which COP track? Well I like Pso'Xja, but it's too sleepy , would be nice orch'd up, I can imagine it'd go well.

I like "Onslaught" and "Dusk and Dawn", I also like Oldtown/Sea music, but those wont be nice orch'd.

You know what music i really love in FF though? the "Boss battle theme" from original FF, BCNM music. CoP's bcnm music sucked, Zil / Original were nice though.

For FFXI music, I have an ol' plugin that plays .bgws, however, there's a problem. All the newer music that SE releases, such as promathia fight, one of the choco themes, and the end CoP cutscene song... attempting to play those with the plugin results in loud static and it sucks..-_- I hope the expansion music isn't gonna be like that, or else I won't have an infinite looping music collection for Aht Urghan

I thought I heard that those files were a different format (ATRAC).

Correct, they're encoded in Sony's ATRAC3 format and nothing I tried could get them to work. I have an mp3 of the final Promathia music I could upload somewhere if people really want it (unless it's already been posted in this thread?).

Didn't even have to upload it, my friend still had it on his server from waaaay back.

Edit: Not a url because the boards/firefox won't make it one for some fucking reason.

Okay, I've never been able to find this, maybe you guys know it. There's a remix of the 'recollection' theme somewhere in the game, but not on any of the OST's. I haven't been able to find it outside the game, but I can give a specific cutscene with it: CoP 6-4 "One to be Feared" part 1 cutscene viewable in Sealion's Den.

I only found this recently while watching old cutscenes in there while waiting for slowass friends, and remembered hearing it during kingdom rank 5-1 missions as well. I mostly ask because I'm a completionist, and it's the only one I know that I don't have. >_> Anyone know where it is?

There's also a winamp plugin that reads it, so you can play the file directly from winamp straight from the sound file that SE releases.

I think the problem with the url is simply that it has an apostrophe in it.

If you have a link to a Winamp plugin that will play the .bgw files encoded in ATRAC3 I'd like to see it. The one I tried didn't work and even Connect, the very Sony product that allows me to convert my mp3s into ATRAC to stick on my mp3 player, won't play the file.
