i rented it the day it came out(long ago) and i was tired so i fell asleep on and off. i dont remember anything about it but for some reason(I DONT KNOW Y LAWL) i didnt think i liked it, rofl.

was it good? worth renting again?

agreed, but IMO, its visuals are the best due to good use of vibrant color themes. Definately worth a rent.

I think the story behind Hero is better than both Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Flying Dragon, but the action is about the same as Crouching, but better than House... All three are really good though.

It's an artsy film. By far artiser and with a lot less action than Crouching Tiger.

I'm a film snob, so I like the color coded rashomon-style flashbacks and I can appreciate the general aesthetic of the storytelling. But I can see how it would make people fall asleep.

All movies are worth renting, just a matter of how much money you have left in your rentals budget and what kind of movies you like best.

Personally I really liked Hero.

I loved Hero...I think it's the best of the three. The visuals just grab you and won't let go.

And how could you hate the ending? Other than the heavy handed pro-communism bent, I thought the ending was extremely moving.
